My father in law has a B3350 that the neutral switch for the forward/reverse pedal is real touchy. Can it be adjusted? You have to play with the pedal sometimes to make starter work. I am 2 hrs from the tractor but will be looking at it this weekend.

Is this a common issue with the 2650/3350 tractors?

Ive been manipulating the pedal for some time and I think I finally figured out the problem. It wasn't my neutral safety switch.... It is the pivot point for the neutral arm binding not allowing the bearing on the end of the arm to fully return home into the neural holder. This in turn wouldn't allow the linkage to contact the neutral switch.

Page 3-m23 of the workshop manual will show these parts.

I didn't take anything apart, I just sprayed the pivot on the neutral arm with lithium grease and its been working fine. I should take it apart but I'm concerned the offset bolt on the area in question, and its holding on what looks like some type of split collar, may have some more important stuff behind it.

ETA: there was a member just a few weeks back who found it WAS the neutral safety switch binding due to corrosion.

No such issues with my B3350.

I had the same thing happen to my B2650 eipo. All I did was the same as you, lube all the linkages for that and have not had any more problems since!!

Im still perplexed why the linkage that kicks the cruise off when you step on the brake binds up on my tractor. Ive pulled it off till I figure it out.

I should clarify. Mine wasnt with the cruise, just all the linkage from the tredal pedal to the trans (hst). Lubed all of that and havent had any problem for a couple years.

Thanks for your replies. I'll try lubing the linkages. Where can you get a shop manual?
I worked it out when I bought my tractor with the dealer, I bought the wsm for half price, so I had it when my tractor was delivered.

They can be had online for free. I'd provide a link, but it's on the computer and I'm on my phone. Do a search for your tractors wsm.

There is no Free download for the B3350 WSM that I know of.
You would have to get it from a dealer.
Some are nice enough to give you a copy if you take a zip / thumb drive in with you when you ask. ;)

All of the B2650 downloads I find are actually the wrong download for the US version of the B2650 and the B3350.

You need P/N 9Y111-09722 for ROPS and 9Y111-08221 for CAB for both the B2650 and B3350

If I'm missing where to download it from, please tell.

Im sure you're right. The one I have has 3 other models listed that aren't for sale in the us.
