I need to replace the factory 3-point stabilizer turnbuckles on my '96 L2900 and would like to know if I should stick with the turnbuckles or swap them for a chain setup? Which is the best or is there something better than either of those?

Best thing to do with those turnbuckles.....mmm.....lets see, do you have a large pond near by???? And negative on the chains.....But I would do chains before turnbuckles.....

but here is whatcha do.......

give this man a PM - and then be patient and wait - he is worth every penny!:)

For sure loose the turn buckles and switch over to telescopic stabilizers. Worth every penny and then some. If Hodge can't help you can order a set for a L series that has them as standard. The ones I have on my L3000 were for a L4300, perfect swap. If you've never used them you don't even realize how much easier they make switching implements..

Telescopic stabilizers are standard on B2650 and B3350, and optional on B3350SU for $208. Visit a Kubota dealer and have a look at the links on a B2650/3350. If they look like they would fit you B then talk to a salesman about the "wholegoods" price for the kit for installing them on a B3350SU.

Otherwise talk to hodge about making a set for your tractor.

I just ordered a set from Mark Hodge for an L3000. There a better design than stock and cost less too. Can't wait to get them :)
