Did what I bought the tractor for. Mowed the 'play' field and the SNOW SLEDDING hill.
I did stop to get off the tractor and used the plow blade as a parking brake. Left a big patch of ripped up lawn when I forgot raise the blade and started mowing again. Good news is that after many years all I had to tell the wife is that I am an idiot and she walked away laughing. If it does not recover I can seed in the fall.

Looks like a recently purchased animal. Might be the sticker from the sale barn still on it's side. Probably didn't put it in an area to get it use to the new place, spooked and went for a tour!

Picked up my forks and BB today. My buddy came over and wanted all 20 or so of my dead/crowded red cedar trees so we cut them down, cut them to 13' lengths, and I used the forks to load them into the dump trailer. I also borrowed his woodland Mills stump grinder and ground about 7 stumps. I have a bunch of buckthorn and cedar stumps left to grind in my woods. I can't get to them until I clear the cedar branches that I used the forks to move into the woods temporarily until I can get access to the dump trailer again.

I have spent about 40 hours cleaning up our small area of woods, it's finally starting to look good and is accessible to walk/drive through and eventually flatten out with the BB.

Once those cedar stumps are gone, I'm going to get some fill, flatten out that area on the side of the house with the BB, and then build a 12'x16.5' shed there. I think I'll throw some seed down in the areas grass wouldn't grow until I'm ready to add more fill.

The LX hit 11 hours today, I need to pressure wash it and grease the FEL for the first time.

They were having a roping demonstration about a 1/2 mile from me and this one went right through the fence.

The little Kubota with carry-all served as service tractor to the old ‘Moline.

Moline is running great. Did notice a new noise in the front of the engine. Could be belt or alternator noise, stopped after a short minute’s run time.

The difference in technologies of the two are amazing.

That old Moline will hurt or kill you in many ways. Always have to be on your game. If not, bad things can and will happen.

The safety features of a modern tractor take a lot, but not all, of it away.

Not an editorial either way, just stating a fact. I know I’m much more attentive to detail when operating the old timer.

Yeah, the skeeters were thick where the Moline is. Had designs for more time, but they drove me off…..

Just looking at the 'lil toy tractor and being thankful. I'll say this and it is that I've made two good purchases. #1 was a '75 Toyota Landcruiser and #2 was the 'ol '84 B7100. And the Land Cruiser has a broken Birfield on the front 'cause I was stupid and used it as a tractor.. But the B7100 wins. It grunts and groans, like me but it just keeps going.

I broke the Land Cruiser in a mistake. But even in a stupid moment the B7100 does not break. Just some wear points and the darn deteriorated wiring.

Pulled tarp off the B and grabbed my weed wacker. To lazy to walk the hill so I drove to the area that need trimming. I almost feel guilty, but, heck it is hot out there.
