I have an L3400 gear drive with a loader. I just found that the molded hose on the suction side of the hydraulic pump is cracked open at the elbow. If the pump has been sucking air, do I need to bleed the high points on the loader to get the air out?

On my L3400 2WD, why does my owner's manual say to "quickly" spin the new filter into place? Is oil pouring out of the transmission the whole time the filter is loose/off? I have to disconnect hoses anyway...whoever installed the rear remote kit thoughtfully ran the hoses right over the head...

Nope. Neither bearing shell was ever drilled for a zerk. My owner's manual shows a zerk on the front bearing and says to shoot it until grease comes out the breather plug. I did remove the plug and attempt to use a needle on a grease gun but it didn't go very far. I figured the shaft would...
