I have an L3400 gear drive with a loader. I just found that the molded hose on the suction side of the hydraulic pump is cracked open at the elbow. If the pump has been sucking air, do I need to bleed the high points on the loader to get the air out?

Nope, You will not need to bleed it, the pump will do that for you in a couple min.
It might feel a little jumpy or soft for the first few strokes of the rams.

Just cycle thru all the functions of the loader and steering and it should remove the air for you.
