aftermarket 3 point hitch set up issues with b7000

Yes you can absolutely do that. That's how mine are set up. I think your 3pt arms are going to be 'usable' after flipping the stabilizers inward and moving your tires outboard a bit, and i dont think you'll need to buy OEM arms.

aftermarket 3 point hitch set up issues with b7000

You may have to drill it out to a bigger size, but it looks like you could leave the existing 'yoke' mounts in place and simply replace the bolts here with Cat1 pins facing inward. Not everybody has a 7/8" drill bit but luckily 'stepper bits' that include 7/8" are pretty common and cheap. It...

    Wheel wobble

Sounds like some loose bearings but really need more info on the tractor to say anything more. Is it the m4700?

    Cracked Steering Wheel

I think vasically all of them do that crack eventually. The plastic shrinks and it cracks from tension which is why its so ‘clean’ of a break. Nice repair job!

L35 TLB Restoration - Greasing pins is good - (UPDATE Jan 8)

I agree that it was built adequately but maintained poorly. 30mm pins are common on mini excavators, there are CERTAINLY bushings available. I would machine the bucket links you have to suit whatever 30mm bushing you choose. I would pick based on what is easiest to find parts for and machine...

    Lifepo4 (lithium) batteries in B6100

Thanks for the feedback. Ive only been using lifepo4 batteries for a year and change so i cant say much about longevity. I will say there is a difference between li-ion and lifepo4. The use of lifepo4 in starting batteries is fairly recent and anything more than 2 or 3 years back would likely...

    Anyone have one of these?

It is just a manual diverter valve with quick disconnects on it. I agree with the very hydraulically experienced poster above me that the key is to put the valve within reach of the seat, but that MAY not be where you want your quick disconnects, so you reallu have to look at the whole picture...

    Kubota’s dirty little secret!

I feel like this is a bit harsh. How many people have discovered interference issues rhe hard way? Nearly anyone thats done anything! The rest of it is just commentary on ‘style’ of posting. I for one agree that its a useful contribution becsuse it MIGHT save someone some damage some day. Heck...

    Lifepo4 (lithium) batteries in B6100

So as far as charging, the tractor itself charges at 1-5amps depending on rpm. ive got a total of about 20ah of battery there, so if the batteries were truly dead and i had to jump start the tractor, id have to leave it at max rpm for 4 hrs to fully recharge the batteries! But of course most of...

    Lifepo4 (lithium) batteries in B6100

So i have developed a fondness for this little 100a load tester which can be had for $16 with a coupon. At first id been skeptical of its usefulness but ive used a variety of larger adjustable carbon pile load testers on a bajillion FLA car batteries (and i do own a large adjustable one, its...

    Lifepo4 (lithium) batteries in B6100

So I had been running two batteries in parallel on my b6100, a group U1 ‘riding mower battery’ in the tray, and a group 16 ‘powersports’ battery on the left hand loader subframe. Here’s a pic of how i mounted that 16 before we move on: Anyway, the U1 died and needed to be replaced. I could...

    Jacobsen mower

As much as i love a power increase a 7100 doesnt have enough weight to use much more power than it has. Unless you want to pull a massive pull-type mower deck maybe. 🤓

Clearly I had no idea how to grease trailer wheel bearings that have zerk fittings.

There are a lot of zerk fittings that almost seem like they are there for the placebo effect because they lead into giant chasms that 99.9% of people would never pump enough grease into to actually fill it up.

Reversing front wheels on Kubota B26 TLB - NO NOT DO THAT

Noone really replied to the most relevant comment, about how the forces are distributed between inner and outer bearings. Now ive routinely done terrible things in this regard on cars, but cars dont usually carry extra thousands of lbs of load on the front end. Wheels rarely have their...

    quick attach buckets

That damage can only come from pushing DOWN on something so material in the bucket wouldnt have mattered. The pins dont do anything to support weight in the bucket, that would just make the bucket sit harder against the ssqa plates and pull down harder on the top rail.

    Backhoe Bucket Options

^ Im trying to get THERE! But enjoying my ‘youth’ along the way. Yes the ripper is $160. It only has to be strong enough for a small machine but i have yet to damage it. The observation about mini ex’s using metric vs our backhoes standard pins is a good one. I bought a cheap chinese mini ex...

    Backhoe Bucket Options

What is the pin diameter and center to center spacing of the holes on the backhoe bucket? It may take bx stuff and northern tool towable hoe attachments (which i discovered are interchangeable). I have a $160 ripper tooth from Northern for my 4520 and for the money im thrilled with it. 🤷‍♂️

    quick attach buckets

To me that would only happen if you out the tractor bucket on the heavier skidsteer and tried to push the front of the heavier machine up or backdragging with it WHILE the pins were not engaging the correct area. Its an oopsie but an easy repair/upgrade to fix, all things considered.

    B6100/7100 DIY 'charge regulator'

So, more of an electronics experiment than a valid repair method, but some might find it interesting. The dynamo on this particular tractor only puts out ~8v ac at idle. It rises to ~28v ac at max rpm. The ac must be passed through diodes to convert it to DC, and those drop somewhere around...

    Mower drops to ground

^ That test will tell you. But if fluid is not ending up on the ground the cylinder is likely not the cuplrit as a cylinder cannot move without fluid leaving it, assuming we are talking about a single acting ‘push’ cylinder collapsing.
