Weasel1 - What are the rear straps attached to on the tractor?

Need some help with BX2200 MMM creating "circles"

I'll add one more thought and hope you are not offended. I've done worse. My MMM has thick washers that go on the spindle above the blade. Is it possible one of these got left off allowing the spindle to travel up and down just a bit?

BX 2660 losing power inconsistent WOT

Great suggestions. I'll do that this weekend. Fairly new to these type machines. I know to take care of the simplest stuff first. Could this be an injector or air getting into the line? Fuel pump?

BX 2660 losing power inconsistent WOT

Tank appears to be clear and I have stopped three times to check the fuel flow. It seems to be good but there is still the possibility that when I cut the tractor off to check the blockage dislodges.

BX 2660 losing power inconsistent WOT

Need some help trouble shooting my BX. I treated the fuel a couple of months ago with an algaecide. A few weeks later it would have intermittent periods where it would lose power. I drained the tank and replaced both fuel filters. Still experiencing the problem. It will start to shake a bit...

    380-289A third function issue

Others on here much more knowledgeable than me. I have the same grapple, not sure on the valve, on my BX 2660. Are you sure that both the curl and open/close worked simultaneously? I ask because on mine the valve is really a diverter that diverts the pressure from the curl function to the...

    Safety of zero turn mowers

This!! To me this is one of the risks that is greater on a zero turn. You have to keep both hands on the steering controls which severely limits your ability to pivot at the waist and look behind you. Couple that with how easy it is to go from forward to reverse and I think folks (including...

    Strongest pulling configuration

I moved a couple bigger than that with my BX when Hurricane Michael came through. Several excellent suggestions already regarding using the tow bar, and the sawzall. The dirt will ruin your chainsaw too quickly. It appears from the picture this is a large root ball from a tree that fell over...

    Fuel sending unit ohm info

My BX is pretty much the same. Per the gauge I get about double the run time from full to 1/2 tank vs 1/2 to near empty.

    60 inch belly mower concern

Had something very similar happen on my ZT. A half chewed up pine cone got wedged in the pulley. It was very hard to see. I could tell which pulley was making the racket but when I pulled the belt off it was solid and smooth as can be. I had the dang thing almost off the mower housing for...

    Horse died

Good ole red Ga clay. Stuff has probably elicited more cuss words from folks that have to farm/dig it than anything else. Very impressive the B did that.

Do you need a new hip or knee

Have needed a knee replacement for over 3 yrs now. They wouldn't do it until I got my BMI under 40. Starting in August I realized I couldn't keep going like this due to the constant pain and started serious weight loss. Lost 30 lbs and the Ortho Doc two weeks ago said let's go. Hallelujah...

Got the new BX2380 home and have a question?

Keep in mind the three point hitch doesn't have downward pressure. Lot's of folks use "limiter" chains to adjust how far the 3ph will drop in the down position. No reason you can't apply the same concept in the full up position.

Light weight 3 point offset mower

I have the same problem with a farm pond I inherited from my dad. I tried lots of solutions but none seemed to give satisfactory results. Then I bought one of those pivoting head shrub trimmers that fits onto the end of a gas trimmer. It works great if as you said you're just trying to knock...

    Trailer Advice!!

I was supportive of your inclination until your last post. I myself have a BX 2660 with FEL, no backhoe but generally have a bushog or small harrows on the rear. I have hauled it quite a bit on a 6x14 single axle trailer. However the single axle does leave less margin for safety. Since it is...

    BX2660 HST Power

Yea. No snow to worry about here. Lots of sand but it generally stays on the beaches. I get amused reading about cabs and heaters and such from my northern neighbors on here. I've visited the northern parts sometimes in some rather brutal weather and certainly wouldn't want to live there...

    BX2660 HST Power

Maybe my paranoia is getting the better of me. I have a 2008 BX2660 with FEL. Historically when doing FEL work I'm in low range 4wd, In the past I could dig into a pile until the tractor wheels started to loose traction and spin. Didn't typically matter the type surface, Well I haven't done...

    Pre-School Brush Hog Alignment

Follow Lil Foot's advice. You haven't been clear on this but did you lengthen the right stabilizer before trying to tighten the left? If not, you won't be able to move it over.

    Using Cruise Control - Yikes!

I have knee problems and used to love the CC as without if I mowed for a few hours my knee would ache. On day I was mowing in some very tall grass/weeds and ran over a 5’ mobile home type anchor. It must have been the perfect storm where the front tire ran over the screw type bottom of the...

    BX 2370 stalling

Not sure if you want to go this route, but several years ago I purchased a fluid siphon from a marine store. Looks very similar to a standard pump sprayer except that instead of pressuring the tank it creates a vacuum. I've used it countless times for removing fluid and crud from various...
