    Backhoe slowly declines when stored

Recently had my dealer replace a couple of hydraulic hoses on the backhoe that were leaking, which I believe were to the downrigger on one side only. When the tractor was not run for a week or 2, the downriggers and the backhoe bucket would go down a little bit but not significantly. However...

    L2350 Front Grill

Purchased a front grill that the previous owner had said was from an l2350 Kubota. It is in excellent condition, and I don't think it was ever installed. My question is does it fit other models, and does it have any value since it is from an older model tractor? Had thought of listing it here...

    Plows

Purchased a M5660 for general use. It does not have draft control(which I was told when purchasing). I had someone pick me up a set of plows at an auction which are 3 x 16. When using them the tractor seems yo have difficulty pulling through the soil with them and at times the tires will spin...

    Backhoe stabilizer legs noise

Just got tractor with backhoe on it back from dealer for routine service. I noticed when I put the right side backhoe stabilizer down it makes a fairly loud noise like it is binding on something. It seems if I put the left side down first I don't get noise from the right side. Also, if the right...

    Draft control M5660 SUHD

I bought one of these tractors which I really like. However, it does not have draft control which I knew when I bought it. Now of course I wish I had it. Is there any way to add it to this tractor if done by the dealer? Thanks for your time.

    Correct rear tire pressure?

L2501 11.2 x 24 on 10 inch rims Titans. They have beet juice ballast in them. The left rear tire seems to have a little bit more of a buldge than right rear. Tractor does have a backhoe on the back. I cant see on the tire what recommended pressure should be. Anyone know the recommended pressure...

    Auction tractor

Occasionally I see an auction that lists a newer Kubota or a listing on Craigslist or other places. My question is if the tractor was being purchased on the 5 year 0% interest plan, not paid off and not mentioned at the auction that there is a balance owed are you responsible for the balance...

    M5660su

What kind of discount do most dealers give on a M5660SU new tractor or in general. For some reason I was thinking I read 5 to 10%. Anybody here buy one recently and have any opinions on this model. Any response appreciated.

Amp Usage for Kubota Block Heater

Planning on getting a block heater on 2501 but need to run an extension cord to that building for an electric source. Concerned about voltage drop so I wondered if anybody knew how many watts or amps they require to run properly. Hate to get it and not have enough amps to run it properly. Thanks

    Scam- Buyer Beware

Ran across am M7040 on Craigslist Youngstown Ohio for $15738. Had 414 hours , cab, really nice shape. It was a divorce, she(or perhaps a he) got the tractor, and wanted to sell it right away. She sent me pictures of the tractor and one of them was the serial number. Turns out it was sold on ebay...

    L2501 Exhaust question

Probably a dumb question(new Kubota owner) but here goes. I just noticed some blackish residue? on the loader arms on the exhaust side of the tractor. This residue will wipe off somewhat and comes off pretty easily with some soap and water. Tractor has about 30 hours and since it has no DPF...

    Squeaky FEL

New 20+ plus hour l2501.Now seems to have a squeak in the front end loader when lifting anything. We are not loading anything that heavy maybe some dirt or gravel. Should not be over taxing the loader in any manner. I assume it is a cylinder but not sure how to determine it for sure. All grease...

    Tire chain question

This is probably a question previously posted here and if so sorry for the repeat. New owner L2501 4wd planning on getting snow/ice chains for winter. I thought I had read on the forum that chains on the front tires are ok and then in another forum they are not the best idea for a tractor of...

    Hydraulic/Transmission level l2501

Recently purchased an new 4wd L2501 Gear Transmission with FEL and backhoe. I had read somewhere that to check the hydraulic fluid level the tractor should be shut off, FEL down on ground and Backhoe in transport position. At that point the fluid level should be 1/2 way up the view window. Mine...
