Thanks very much for the responses, okay so another tear down it is then. On a plus side I guess, it's taking less and less time to do so as I'm getting good at it. By the end of all this - I should be able to do it my sleep :rolleyes:

Hi - I bought a used F2560 last year and within a short time I had a transmission problem. I took the transmission apart to find a bearing had broke. I repaired the transmission - put it all back together, tested it and it worked. But within a short time it started to show hydraulic pressure...

I have had nothing but trouble with this thing. Now it doesn't seem to want to drive anymore, when it does there's a loud clattering noise coming from the rear of the transmission. It will go forward but not without complaining and not up any kind of hill with the mower down or the pto on...

I want to replace the HST fuild on my F2560, the service manual say's to use Kubota's fuild as it has an additive for the HST, problem is I don't have a dealer readily available to me. Can just regular hydraulic fuild work just the same or does it need to be the kubota stuff?? Thanks.

My kubota died today, no forward and no reverse. Also no hydraulics' up or down and the pto won't engage either. When it was working towards the end of it's life today it felt like it didn't have any power steering. It also had difficulty cutting up hills, to make it work I'd have to disengage...
