    Amsoil Diesel All-In-One

I use their diesel injector cleaner religiously. I don't think I get the 5% increase they advertise but I can tell you when the wife got lazy and didn't put it in. I love it.

    Hydraulic oil issue

Not to take away from the heat might have done this; it may be getting aerated. I am finishing some repairs on an L35 that I thought I had water in the fluid because it looked whitish. Not so, the intake line to the secondary front pump had rusted through and was adding air to the fluid, which...

What is this on loader ram?

If you scratch all that rust out of the end you pictured; it is an allen wrench head to remove it. I have removed many of them. Rust truly sucks.

    Super UDT2 Hydraulic Oil

Super UDT is semi-synthetic and Super UDT-2 is 100% synthetic from what I can find.

    BH90 Hydraulic Problem

I forgot to mention, HUSCO 5000 series. Good luck.

Has anyone noticed or did I miss domething?

Has anyone noticed or did I miss something? I bought a 5K generator with a blown engine and didn't even think about it. I was going to replace the engine with a Yanmar knock off but when I went to get one they are no longer for sale. My (bust my b****) Harbor Freight salesman said they had to...

    engineer mess ups

How about making udt2 a nice orange, well I think that fits, not unlike ATF but not ATF red. I agree with everyone but let me ask a rhetorical question; who drives a vette? The older guy, who runs most of these beasts, older guys, who do their best to see with x focal glasses. I know the younger...

    BH90 Hydraulic Problem

It is your valve. Do some searches on this site and you will find that i have posted most of the valves part numbers from HUSCO so you don't have to get K parts. A rebuild kit should be very obtainable for little money if you get it from someone who has a HUSCO kit. Napa has them if you can...

    Replacing O-rings

Question 1 I have no idea but suspect they are totally fine. I have and use a NAPA o-ring kit and have never had on fail. I replace it as often as I use them up. Question 2, there is no way to tell because the old compressed one will be only measurable in the fact of thickness now and not what...

    Water wetter? Thoughts?

Thanks for all the responses. To clear things up a little, the tractor is decades old now and actually has a new radiator. I could not have the old one repaired because its aluminum with plastic tanks. I miss the old copper radiators. Anyway; the water pump was replaced along with the hoses...

    Water wetter? Thoughts?

I have B2710 with a MMM. When running it in high gear at near PTO speed the engine slowly creeps up to really hot. If I stop and let it idle for 15 minutes it will go right back to normal. I'm wondering if a product like Water Wetter will keep her running cool. I made a V-8 S-10 in 1990 and...

    Ken's Bolt On Receiver

Since you have the SSQA I propose this, which is what I did. I got a Titan set of pallet forks. The same frame for that handles my round bale hay spikes and has a 2 inch trailer receiver built in. It was under $500 for everything and does a great many tasks. I know you already ordered something...

    Winches

Harbor Freight for the win on this one. They have a heavy duty set of jumper cables that give you all the gauge of wire you will need and cutting one end off won't make you cry. Semper fi

    Winches

I already had the winch, a 12000lb warn, not my point. Just like my f250 sd I have a front receiver and a rear receiver, 3pt receiver on the tractor so i can put on any tractor. The winch is in a cradle I can stick in any 2 inch receiver. So now I have a winch I can use anywhere even if it is...

    Help ID this part

Totally concur with Daren. Not exactly sure of the function of each sensor but def not factory. I also believe nothing totally nefarious is going on there. Trace the wires back to the gauge and light should five a good clue. Also the part numbers for the sensors should be on them although I...

    Bx23 Hydraulic pressure

I have a pressure tester and shim kit for the BX23 which I no longer own. I now have a L35 and B2710. If your interested let me know and we can work something out. Steve

    Kubota LA402 Loader float problem

Been there, done that with exactly the same model. No offense to poster but I did not have to replace the assemblies but I did have to resurrect them. I removed the two caps on the hydraulic valve and used naval jelly to get all the rust killed, then I used lots of water and baking soda to kill...

Looking to buy an acetylene/oxygen torch

Thanks for the reply. I will definitely look into propane. I will never gas weld since I have a nice mig setup and it works great. The thing that really angers me is the price of a acetylene bottle plan or even a one year rental. The gas is ~$100.00 but a plan is $1000.00 or a rental here was...

Looking to buy an acetylene/oxygen torch

Hello all. For the record I went with a Northern Tool set up. I am quite happy. Ordered some scarfing tips and it removes welds like a dream. My only concern/issue is the price of acetylene. Friends have told me to buy a propane regulator and switch. Thoughts. I really have no reference but for...

    Kubota UDT substitute

For the money you can't beat Super UDT2. 100% synthetic and great stuff. Amsoil does make an equivalent but if you not a dealer or preferred customer it is more expensive but you get their warranty of failure. If you can prove the oil caused the failure they say they will fix it. YMMV. Semper Fi
