BX Snow Blower PTO shaft came off while snow blowing.

Last night I was snow blowing my yard for access to the wood shed and chicken coop. All the sudden there was a loud, violent banging from underneath. The PTO shaft somehow became disconnected from the snow blower while the PTO was still spinning. Luckily I was able to react fairly quickly. Does...

Well crap! PTO shield retainer broke off!

In the process of replacing the hydraulic cylinder cover plate I got to the point where all I have to do is put the rear PTO shield back on. Almost finished the job and the part of the casting that holds the pin/spring combo in place broke off. Lovely. I'm hoping to be able to use JB Weld to...

    Flat face coupler won't connect.

I had to replace a blown hydraulic line on my BX. Now, I can't connect the flat faced connector. I think the rigid part of the connection is hitting part of the cab not allowing the connector to go in straight.. Does anyone here have a potential remedy for this?

Blown hydraulic line (BX23S). Temporarily run othe hydro fluid?

Last night, while plowing, I apparently blew a hydraulic line that hooks to the backhoe. When the backhoe is off, it loops around and reconnects to a receiver to complete the loop. I can probably get the hose replaced today (hopefully considering the snow we've received) but i don't think I'll...

Mower deck tensioner pulley. which side of gearbox?

At the start of winter i disconnected the spring on the tensioner pulley on my mower deck. This was the first time I'd done this and it was a b*tch to get off. I just went through putting it back on and was having a helluva time. There was no way i was getting it back on. I then noticed that the...

Scary moment removing MMM (kicked out on angle)

I was removing my mower deck for cleaning after finishing my lawn. Not sure what happened but it scared the crap out of me. I'm guessing I wasn't square with the deck when I was backing up or my front wheels weren't straight. Luckily some blocks, a jack and some jack stands made it a relatively...

Moving gravel - should I get a bolt on cutting edge first?

I have a BX80 series and did not get the bolt on cutting edge. I'll soon be fixing some drainage problems in my yard and this will include moving gravel. Should I get a bolt on cutting edge prior to moving gravel to protect the stock cutting edge on my FEL?

    BX80 series dealer installed cabs

Some pictures of the dealer installed cab for the BX80 series. First impressions: - Loud! Need to get some noise cancelling headphones - field of view is decreased. As to be expected - plenty of room - Curtis cab brought in to Kubota - Oh crap handles are gone. [emoji45] - ROPS exposed enough...

    Backup camera wiring to BX23S

I bought a cheap backup camera and screen setup to mount to the back of my BX and am questioning how to get power to it. There are wires for the camera and wires for the screen. I'm assuming I can splice the two together and connect them to the auxiliary light wires that are by the 3 point hitch...

    Freeze plug leaking fix

Long story on how I got here (will include below for entertainment) but here's the problem. I had to replace a freeze plug on my BX2670. It is now leaking. It's not excessive but I don't want it to become a bigger problem. What can I do to stop the leak? Would rather not replace the plug again...

    Attaching battery tender to BX2670

I just got a battery tender for my BX2670. Reading the kubota manual, it says that when jumping, attach one lead to the terminal and one to the frame of the tractor. I'm guessing this is just for jumping. Attaching a battery tender I would guess the leads get attached to each of the terminals...

BX2670 front end loader max load

I will be receiving a delivery that will weigh approximately 875 lbs. The only means I have for taking it off of the truck (pick up) will be my BX2670 front end loader. I have a grader blade on the back that weighs about 200 lbs. I won't have to move the tractor at all with this load. Will I do...
