    B7100HST-D and 4WD

Here's another good reason to use 2WD unless you have to .... If you're going anywhere muddy, slippy, slopey, boggy, icy or where you fear you might have trouble getting out: Go in with 2WD - if you lose traction and can't move forwards or back, then engage 4WD and you'll probably get home for...

Glow Plug 'element' indicator won't let glow plugs work?

It doesn't have to be broken for it to prevent easy starting. If the resistance is too high it will not let the plugs reach temperature. I replaced the indicator on my B7100 and it starts much easier now. It wasn't expensive.

    Rear view mirrors

OK - so not the highest-tech modification you can make to your Orange job - but for someone my age, who doesn't find it so easy to twist round every 30 sec to see what's going on at the back, I find the mirror is really useful. In fact previously I have driven around for several minutes without...

L3200 warm up normal or an issue

Owners of diesel-powered boats have the same issue - in spades! So go to the nearest marina / chandlery / boat accessory shop and get some diesel treatment that contains biocide. Meanwhile change filters and drain / refill the tank as suggested by others. Hope you get it fixed - let us know!

What is the purpose of the clutch?

The above posts are 100% correct - the clutch engages the PTO. On some models (like my B7100 HST) there is an interlock with the starter motor so that the clutch has to be depressed to crank the engine. I guess this is a safety feature to prevent an implement turning unexpectedly when the...
