    Fan belt width B7100D, non-HST

My fan belt self destructed while a friend was borrowing my tractor. Anyone know if it is 3/8” or 1/2” wide? I believe it’s 31” long. Thanks in advance!

    Parts are parts, right? Wrong…

I just took the B7100D out for a test drive. Months ago, the clutch went out (of course soon after I bought it). Never had a tractor and never worked on one. Got out the manual and split the tractor, ordered aftermarket and replaced the disk, pplate, TO bearing and some seals. I adjusted...

    Pressure Plate adjustment

Months ago, I replaced my clutch components with aftermarket brand parts. They all appeared to match the old ones. The TO bearing is a Timken (Timken has always made great bearings). I followed the manual when setting the pressure plate finger heights. After running for about 4 hours, the...

    B7100D non-hst parts

I have the back half (bell housing to 3pt) for parts. The unit functioned as it should, before I removed it. Anything you need, just ask. I do not have the seat, wheels or hubs. Prices to be negotiated, plus shipping.

    B7100d and D1105 engine swap

Will a D1105 “fit” in a B7100D non hst? I might be able to get one with a bad injection pump. Looks like they have about 22hp. It would be a back-up engine. Model D1105-BG-ET01 Looks like the oil pan is taller and the overall length is longer, center of crank to bottom of pan is taller. And...

    B7100D pressure plate

Well, after splitting the tractor three times, I found why the clutch would not disengage. The WSM finger heights would not work. I had to set them 10mm higher. The pedal now travels a very short distance before the TO bearing contacts the fingers. And beyond that, it disengages the clutch...

    Glow plug lamp bypassed

First, I very much appreciate this forum and those who have helped me thus far. On my journey to restoring B7100D, I noticed my glow plug lamp is bypassed. It starts quickly (no winters in Florida) and the glow plugs are OEM and perhaps original. I have a secondary dash for parts with...

    2 wire dynamo

I managed to snag both wires on my two-wire dynamo (B7100d) at the dynamo. Both wires are light blue. I looked at the wiring diagram, but I cannot determine which wire from the harness goes to which wire coming out of the dynamo. I image it matters. Can anyone enlighten me?

    Non HST hydraulic fluid

My tractor sat for years before I purchased it. The hydraulic fluid was milky white and had water in it. I drained it overnight, replaced it the next day. I had to do this a few times to flush the old fluid out. That was expensive! BTW, mine doesn’t have ANY screens, just a hydraulic filter...

    B7100D clutch problems

Update to my previous thread, since I split the tractor again… Backstory: pplate finger snapped and lodged between the housing and flywheel. Before this, clutch worked as it should. I replaced pplate, TO bearing, and seals. Not much details in the WSM, so I used a parts diagram. Flywheel...

    HYDRAULIC CONTROL VALVE, FEL 1630

I recently replaced my stock control valve with an aftermarket unit. The stock unit functioned, but leaked. I am thinking about rebuilding it and selling it. Is there a market for this OEM unit?

    750d injection pump fears

“It takes half your life before you discover life is a do-it-yourself project” a quote by Napoleon Hill. No offense intended, but why are so many fearful of taking a 750D injection pump apart? It’s not rocket science; understand your limitations. You need to be careful, meticulous, take...

B7100D won’t run, puffs black exhaust, “backfire” thru intake…

Long story short, I replaced my clutch. While apart, I pulled the motor and installed a few gaskets, removed carbon on valves & cylinder tops, replaced valve seals, and set valve clearance 0.008”. I also ended up dis-assembling the injection pump and running parts through my ultrasonic...

    B7100D injection pump

Absolutely zero fuel is discharging from the rear most two injection pump delivery valves. The forward-most valve just kinda bubbles out. Is valve clearance related to the injection pump? Maybe I errored when I adjusted the valves. When an exhaust valve pushrod started to raise, I set the...

    750d timing question

I was trying to find out why my 750d engine seized. In the process, I removed the head cover, push rods, rockers, and head. Everything was fine. The weather was turning bad so I quickly put the head and cover on, finger tight, but not the push rods or rocker. Next day, I split the tractor...

    Crank seized B7100D

I posted "flywheel seized" last week. Suggestions were made to check the crank, so I strapped the crank pully...it would not budge. As I stated in my first post, I recently purchased a B7100D. I replaced every fluid, it did not burn oil and the radiator stays full. I put about 36 hours on it...

    Flywheel seized

Recently purchased a B7100D. I replaced every fluid, it does not burn oil and the radiator stays full. I put about 36 hours on it. I was back-dragging sand in low, just crawling along. Heard a loud "snap" that appeared to come from the front right side of the engine. But I had hearing...

    Newbie with questions

Hello, I bought a B7100D with a 1630 FEL, 5’ rake, and finish mower for $4300. Before we paid the seller, everything functioned except the instruments and the 3pt lever was seized. After we got home, I changed every fluid and spin on filters. The tranny/hyd fluid was milky at initial fluid...
