Odd tool no idea what it was used for, any idea?

Tornado is correct! I worked in the shoe industry for 30 years and these were used mostly in the factories to pull the leather uppers over the last so the laster can staple it to the insole rib.

    Woods Snowblower

Been plowing for nearly 30 yrs., I'll just keep doing what works. Running out of room to store attachments any way.

    Woods Snowblower

I have no problem going backwards, I'm just concerned with throwing rocks and damaging the snow blower by jamming up stones in the works. Also, at my age, do I 'need' more equipment or just 'want' more equipment??

    Woods Snowblower

I have thought of a rear snow blower for a long time and the woodmaxx caught my interest. My problem is my driveway is over a thousand feet, gravel, 2 small hills and one steep hill. I have used pick-up trucks with plows and beat them up over the years, now use a plow on my L3560HSTC. I still...

    Did you get yours yet?

I got my check before I got my income tax return. I filed my taxes end of Feb. and didn't get my return until late Aug. But my wife and I both got the stimulus right away. Direct Deposit!

Suggestions for a new hook for top 3 pt bar after backhoe removal

When I put my BH on I take it all off including the top link, and mine is a hydraulic link. Just makes a clean area and no fear of damage anywhere.

    Do you remember?

I'll never forget! I was working in a small shoe testing lab in Lynn, MA and heard on the radio about the plane hitting the tower. I ran into the office and the secretary turned on the TV we watched at lunch time and saw the second plane hit. We all sat in shock.

    BH92 Backhoe Leaking on MX5400

I burst a hose on my BH92 after the first year. It was the left swing hose. I had my shoulder operated last year and it sat for just over a year when I used it again, this time the hyd. thumb valve blew out the O-rings. Cost of labor was way more than the O-ring kit!

    4ft LED replacement bulbs

Skeets, I have mostly 8' bulbs all thru my basement and barn. I changed out the basement first, pulling the ballasts and bulbs. They were the noisiest lights I ever had. With the new LED bulbs and no ballast, quiet, bright and cheaper to operate. When I found the time, I did the same to the...

    Finally

Bearbait, Good job! I've done some things with my tractor that I've been surprised that I was able to do. Like Skeets says, being stubborn can really pay off sometimes. I've been moving boulders so big I couldn't lift, but I pushed and pulled and got them to where I wanted them.

Hard time connecting flat face connectors on grapple

I always connect the two flat face connectors on the grapple together when I take it off the tractor. It helps but not always perfect. I made a flat face connector with a hose for draining fluid pressure off the grapple, works much better.

Pat's Easy Change VS Quick hitch

This is what I love about this site, I buy what I like, you buy what you like, we discuss advantages and disadvantages of each. You can't change my mind, I can't change your mind, and others get to learn from our conversations and recommendations.

Pat's Easy Change VS Quick hitch

I have had a QH ever since my first tractor and love it. It makes hooking up to attachments very easy. I have read so much about the Pat's hitch and purchased a set. I didn't care for them much, I don't know if it was that I was so used to using the QH that the Pat's seemed more difficult. I...

Adding a Hydraulic Thumb to an L45 (no factory rear aux hydraulics)

I had the hydraulic thumb installed when I purchased my BH a few years ago and had some leak problems this year. The BH sat idle for over a year while I recuperated from shoulder surgery, any way, when I pulled the tower cover off, I could tell it was more than I could handle so brought it to...

A way to block members from viewing threads

I agree with some of your observations and concerns, but like watching the news or going thru 'facebook' I see things that I have no interest in or completely disagree with, but ignore it and move on or just pass over it. Too much going on to be too concerned about things others think. I have...

The only comment I have is that this is an open forum for everyone to see, you start blocking and you lose that forum definition. If you don't want someone to see what you think or what ever, either don't post it, or post it someplace else.
