    Rear Chains on

My problem is my steep hill. I have chains for the front, but have yet to put them on. I purchased them when we had a few ice storms and couldn't control the front end. My tractor is in the barn at the bottom of the hill, so getting up I have to back up it and plow down. I have pictures I...

    Rear Chains on

I finally broke down and put the Chains on the rear tires. I HATE THAT JOB! If I had two or three other people to help me, I'd STILL hate it. The chains are heavy, cumbersome and hard to hook up and get tight. Takes about an hour per tire. At least it wasn't below freezing as it usually is...

You're right about that wind! My neighbor has been complaining to me about how much wind we have been getting. He say's he has never seen so much wind as this year.

    L3560 heat

I had that problem when I first got mine, there has been a couple of others here that have had that problem. When the tractor was assembled, the heater hose was crushed and needs to be replaced. I complained to my dealer and it was covered under warranty.

    Skid shoes

I have a snow blade and use my skid shoes, but the problem I have is my driveway is gravel and before it freezes NOTHING will keep that blade from sinking into the gravel and tearing up the driveway. When it is frozen, you could stand the blade on ice picks and it will not dig in. It's quite a...

    Step for L4060

Check with Specialty Repairs Custom Mods. Paul & Kathy Short in Canada make some very nice stuff for Kubotas. I have purchased a few things from them, not cheap, but super high quality. I know they have a 2-step unit for the L60 series.

I can't do that, I only have 1/2" clearance going into my barn!

    2014 M7060 w/ cab Radio Antenna

If I have to do anything inside the roof, like when I put in the radio, I took out the bolts from inside, and then used a block of wood (cut off 2X4) and lifted it, put the block under to support it, and did my work. No need to totally remove the roof, besides, it's just me, no helper.

    2014 M7060 w/ cab Radio Antenna

I broke mine off on my L3560. I agree, they are gouging us!! I went to AutoZone and picked up an antenna but had to Mikey Mouse the hook up and it now sits sideways. At least it won't be sticking up to catch a branch again. I'd post a picture, but haven't got one, maybe later.

    Acrylic Rods in the shower

I have 2 bathrooms with one piece tub/shower and those DAMN acrylic hand grab bars. One bathroom the bar is all crazed and the other actually broke. After going round and round with plumbing supplies and Lowe's and Home Depot, I finally took the broken one out and adhered hole covers over the...

    L 2501 or L3560LE cab or L3560 no cab

I went thru 4 smaller tractors over the years, stepping up each time and finally have the tractor I needed and wanted, HP, cab with heat and AC and no BUGS!! The DPF does not affect me much, just run at elevated RPM's to burn off carbon and occasionally it runs a regen. No problems and I've...

    Bent Tine

That bend is minor compared to the one I did. I was moving boulders and folded the bottom tine almost to a right angle. My neighbor had a torch set-up and I drove my tractor to his house and he heated it up and I bent it fairly straight again. Works fine. Your bend is so minor I'd follow the...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I wanted to get back to you about the 'tiltmeter', it is made by R&B Manufacturing inc. I got it from the TractorByNet store in April 2018. It was 44.95 and is listed as '25CDA Tiltmeter'. I hope this helps. I did look up the manufacturer and they sell different types of meters also. Good luck.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I found it advertised on TBN, the other tractor site before I found this site. I like OTT much better. It might be worth a look see, I don't know if they still have it in their online store or not. I'll look to see if I can find the papers with the possible order info for you.

Glow Plugs - How Long Do You Keep Them "ON" Before Cranking The Engine ?

My L3560 has a glo-plug symbol on the dash. When it is cold out, I turn the key and wait until the symbol goes off and then bang, starts right up. In the winter, I use a block heater and unless it is extremely cold out, the glo-plug doesn't even light up.

Fix for a sensitive seat kill switch

There were 2 things that had to be done, one was removing a plug in relay and the other was cutting off a wire and connecting it to bypass the system. Not sure exactly what it was, I did it was 6 years ago.

First Snowfall - Rear Blade Adjustment - how many of you do this ?

It doesn't really flatten it, you angle the blade and it pushes it and with the angle it slides off. The second pass usually pushes it more out of the way.

First Snowfall - Rear Blade Adjustment - how many of you do this ?

I adjust the top link (mine is hydraulic, easy from the cab) all the way in, that tips the blade so it makes a good contact with the surface. If the top link is out too far, the blade just slides over the snow pushing some but leaving a lot.

First Snowfall - Rear Blade Adjustment - how many of you do this ?

I've had a 1000' gravel driveway for 30 yrs. and the two worse snow storms are the first and last of the season because the driveway hasn't frozen yet. After digging it up many times with a plow, I now use my back blade angled and use it backwards to push the snow off the driveway without...

    L4760 No Cab Heat

When I purchased my L3560, the AC worked great, but the main reason I purchased a cab was for the Winter. When the Winter hit, the heat didn't work. Being still under warranty, I called the dealer and they checked it out and found a hose was crushed preventing the circulation and replaced all...
