    Grill Guard

I bought a grill guard from 5elevendesignz. I have been keeping watch for a guard for my L3560 and the wait was well worth it. The quality put into these guards is amazing, well worth the money, especially for the protection it gives. I really don't want a branch to go thru and destroy my...

    Montana

My wife and I traveled a lot in Europe, the UK, did a Nile cruise and have been to Japan 3 times and Tahiti twice and since getting older and hate all the problems with flying such as cramming as many people on a plane as possible, security check points, long lines etc. We have been doing road...

    Junk Email

Skeets, I don't get that kind of stuff in my emails, but I do get friend requests on facebook from all sorts of weirdos sporting extra large mostly exposed breasts. I sometimes comment on NRA site or other things I belong to and think they troll there for innocents like me.

    I am jacked this morning

I live in a rural town in MA, I have my own well, septic, propane and a back-up generator. I went thru 3 propane companies until I finally got the one I have now and they are the best! All I need to do is call, the girl on the phone will either make an appointment or transfer me to someone who...

    BORA wheel spacers

I forgot to add the picture of my tiltmeter. I got it from the sales section on TBN. As far as the installation goes, I jacked up the side I was working on, loosened the bolts (almost couldn't get them off) and used a pallet jack to glide out the tires and slide them back on when the spacers...

    BORA wheel spacers

Skeets, I got my BORA spacers from UTV parts and accessories. With my L3560 cab, it is tippy on the steep hills I have. I got the 3" spacers and they were $320. with free shipping. They help a lot, but I'm STILL extremely careful on the hills and try not to get too carried away going sideways...

When do you take your chains off?

I leave mine on until mid or late March because I have a very long gravel driveway with a steep hill up to the house. Without the chains I would never be able to plow the driveway let alone get up the hill. I don't like having them on, but like insurance, it's nice to have when you need it.

    LX3310 inside rear view mirror

Very nice, I have a small inside rear view mirror but it seems distorted and does not cover very much. I might look into something like yours.

Pa to make Inter 79 a toll road

Not to worry, Pete Butagig, or however you spell it, wants a 'mileage tax' to take care of it all. The MA toll road (I-90) no longer has toll booths, just overhead cameras all along the road to keep track of everyone. If you don't have an EZ-pass, they mail you a bill with a surcharge.

Grand L 4060 HSTC initial review

Troverman, I had a block heater to my tractor to help warm up. Saves a lot of wear and tear on the engine and ready to run from the start.

    L3560 heat

Sometimes I have to open my side windows to let the heat out, or turn off the heat for periods of time since the hoses were replaced. It seems the assemblers of these tractors love to crush or fold the heater hoses.

    This is pretty cool

Using a car hood serves a dual purpose, you can use it for log skidding and also for skidding boulders. Talk to a body shop and most will gladly let you have a junk one from their dumpster.

Has anyone got their 600 bucks yet?

Got mine on Jan. 4th as well. Got the first one so early and waited and waited for my tax return that didn't come until the end of Aug., must have been a 'thinking of you' to let me know that I'd get my tax return when the felt like it.

What a difference a day makes

I had my valve replaced on the recall probably the first year I had the tractor. Never had any problems. The dealer came, picked up the tractor, replaced the valve and returned the tractor. That's because it was a re-call.

Question on clevis pin alternatives when attaching and removing the 3 point hitch.

I have drilled out several pins to fit the snap ring pins, never had a problem. Usually takes just a slight increase in the hole size. Makes thing so much easier.

    Cab heater

I posted in another thread on heat in a cab that my L3560 cab had great AC in the Summer, but when I needed the heat in the Winter it wasn't there. I complained to the dealer and they checked it out and found there was a circulating hose that was crushed, apparently during assembly, and...

    Chains??? Too many choices!

Taking chains off is easy, putting them back on is a royal Pain in the A**! I have very little pavement to drive on and leaving the chains on for the winter is no problem except the lousy ride I get. I hate the snow, ice and cold here and should move to Florida, but I hate Florida!
