    Kubota L2501 - initial review

Let us know how it works with the glow plugs. I'm much further south, but see the possibility of using my tractor during the winter under certain circumstances. The temperature can fall into the teens here, just not often.

HST fluid change at 50 hrs?

I know some here have said they changed their fluid at 50 hours. In my mind, I really don't see a big benefit in doing so. Maybe in my younger days I would do it, but I don't intend to...unless I see something between now and then to compel me to do so. So far, I have not.

    BH77 on L2501

I have my backhoe off at the moment and have the 3 Point arms mounted for my tiller. I really don't like the use of bolts to secure the arms. It will probably never be an issue, but I don't like the design. My fear would be cross-threading them, but I will be extra careful installing them and...

Grapples: LP SGC0660 vs EA Wicked 55

It is not as bad as a NFA wait. ;) But, it was close to the 10 week wait until I received my EA 55 grapple. The embarrassing thing is I have not even removed it from the pallet. It has been sitting in my barn every since I picked it up from the shipping company. Find some other projects, like...

    Another new tractor owner!

Congratulations. Gonna be a sweet rig with all the implements. Good choice on 3rd function. I'm glad I had it installed on mine.

Grapple/ ratchet rake / box scraper

I don't know anything about the Ratchet Rake. I followed the lead of others here and went with the BXpanded Piranha Tooth Bar. I love it so far. I have not tried it against brush, but used it to cut down a steep slope so I can now mow it. Not cheap, but worth it. I doubt I will ever remove it...

    New Kubota L2501 ordered

I would be skeptical of running a 6 foot cutter on a L2501. Granted, the only PTO driven implement I have used so far has been a new 5 foot tiller and it handled it well, but I had to go slow on new ground. I run a 6 foot cutter on my old John Deere 2030. I think it is a 68 hp tractor. 60 hp...

    for those with QA Hoes

Yeah, I believe a flat surface is the key for easy reinstall. Unfortunately, I was not able to remove mine on a concrete slab, but on the gravel floor on a section of my barn that is mostly flat. I would like to pour a concrete section eventually. I will find out before too long how difficult it...

    for those with QA Hoes

One of the main reasons I wanted my tractor was having a backhoe. A bit pricey, but well worth the money IMO. I removed it about 2 weeks ago for the first time. It only took less than 5 minutes. It may take a bit longer putting back on until I become profecient, just guessing. Only you can say...

    Kubota L2501 - initial review

I found time to make it to the dealer this evening. I talked to the salesman who sold me the tractor and told him the situation. I mentioned the forum and a member's (Troverman's) issue with damage due to the plate being absent. He agreed it should be there and asked if I had also damaged mine...

    Kubota L2501 - initial review

That sounds like a load of BS they gave you. The part obviously exists and is missing from your tractor, and yet it is your problem? I was almost able to swing by the dealer today and ask about the plate on mine. I was running late for something more urgent and never made it. I intend to...

    Yotes !!!

I live on the edge of town. I'd shoot every one, but they are just too elusive. I have heard them just yards from the house. I've tried shining my light to look for glowing eyes when I hear them close by. They just immediately shut up and I never see anything. In 15 years I have only seen two...

    Kubota L2501 - initial review

Blondie70 further back up the thread said he bought and installed his guard. No mention of bolts being too short. Perhaps he can enlighten us on whether or not longer bolts were needed.

    Kubota L2501 - initial review

Purchased my L2501 June 2019. The guard is also missing on mine. I was not aware of the guard until I saw this thread. I guess I need to make a trip to the dealer and tell them I want the guard that was left off my tractor.

Advice needed for hydraulic line interferring with 3 point lift arm.

OK, I hooked up the arms. The hose is orientated just like in Fordtech's picture. I put two small zip ties together to make a longer one and fastened the hydraulic line up against the subframe using the backhoe mounting pin hole. I wished it was a better design, but it should work OK.

Advice needed for hydraulic line interferring with 3 point lift arm.

Yeah, I'm reluctant to do anything on the angles as I am not 100% sure of other issues it may cause. Kubota could have done a better job on that design IMO.

Advice needed for hydraulic line interferring with 3 point lift arm.

Yeah, that looks very much like mine. I was tired and did not put the 3 Point arms on and see how it might work. Thanks for confirming it not being as close with the implement on. I thought maybe it would be a bit better as the lift arm would be a bit higher, so that's good to know. I will...

Advice needed for hydraulic line interferring with 3 point lift arm.

I removed my backhoe on the L2501 for the first time today. Simple enough. However, I was disappointed to see that when I plugged in the return line back into the tractor and started to install the 3 point arms, it is very much going to be in contact with the 3 Point parts. Has anyone had that...

Bought My L2501 (and Myself) a Present Today!

I didn't know about the secondary air filter. I think I will pick one up in the near future. Thanks.
