3 point linkage wont go up under load Filter is clean Good pressure from pump.Orings replaced in lift cylinder..What to do next? At the moment the 3 point will slowly rise with high revs without load

As the pto is aways on and the lever is broken would it be a fair assumption that the a previous owner broke it forcing it to engage? Or Disengage? And what would have happened to the clutch?

I recently bought this tractor The PTO is live and the lever that engages and disengages doesnt do anything. It goes from O to 180 degrees as if its disconnected if that makes sense Any ideas on whats involved to get this operating as it should?

Should this reservoir be filled to the top and with what sort of oil its a black plastic cap with oil written on it just below the alternator thanks in advance

No it doesnt Update Ive had a look at another g1800 and it has more tension on the rack lever than my problem one does Do you think the injector pump has to come3 out to free up the shutoff?

If i disconect the throttle cable and stop cable and undo the 4 bolts holding it down the rack lever part will slip straight out and i might see something inside?

This sounds like a problem i had , Hooked it up to my tractor plenty of revs and away it went

No it doesnt but i dont feel like it ever has..ive never really understood how it works but its stopped and started normally for 20 plus years.In fact when you pull the stop lever the solenoid doesnt move.

My mower fired up then stopped. No fuel coming out of the injector pump but plenty coming out of the fuel filter.This has happened before and i fiddled around with the stop solenoid but dont think i really did anything and suddenly fuel spurted out of the pump..This time not so lucky..Any thoughts?

I Have lost my steering today.There were a few warning signs leading up. A few groans Some resistance at times to a hard turn.Any idea whats in front of me?

Heres what happened I should point out that when the deck came back after repair i had to weld on a post for the tension spring because that was missing.Following your indepth tutorial i could see on the spindle where the grease tube should be so stripped it down ...pulley off blades off...

Thanks Paul and everyone else for your input.. Hasnt done much work since repair so bearing is good.. Plenty to think about.I think the left spindle has the tube delivery also so the deck may be different

I had some major work done on the deck.There was major rust around the right pulley Ive just realised that the greasing point for pulley is no longer there which was a 50mm long tube coming out of the deck with a nipple on top. Is it as simple as picking a spot similar to the left pulley...
