Purchase of 2014 with some rust issues

I would definitely use it as a bargaining chip. Go to one of the other new tractors and lift the hood. If no rust is there, I would point that out to the salesman and insist on a pretty good discount. Yes it will happen, no I am not paying a new price for a rusted tractor (especially as...

Finally got pictures!!! Had one interesting happening though. When I picked it up after installation of the BH92, I was loading it on the trailer and folding up the hoe to put the bucket down where I could chain it. Well, When I folded the bucket all the way down, the upper hydraulic fitting...

    Why should I buy BX25D?

Nice looking little ride!! I think you will be pleased. I have never understood all the hoopla about the pedals. I see very little likelihood of getting confused with a rocker pedal. Forward goes forward. Backward goes backward. I DO however see a lot of potential to get confused with...

    Gear driven vs. hydrostatic

Own both. Have had a shuttle shift L3010 for about 12-15 yrs. She is my old stand by friend. Never had any problems with gear drive. Now a MX5100 with HST. After a few months with the HST, would convert the old one in a heartbeat if I could. She will be going no where, but I like the HST...

Welcome from another SE Texan (Beaumont area)!! Yes, the weather has been less than desirable as of late for sure. My old friend of the farm is about a 15 yr old L3010. She has been as reliable as anything I own, and is still quite capable. I think you got a real jewel right there!! Picked...
