    Flail mower too Large?

I seriously considered going ahead and buying this flail mower and trying to resell it but it seems that it is so much easier for me to collect items than to sell them. In Western North Carolina there is not much market for flail mowers so good used locally owned machines are kinda hard to...

    Flail mower too Large?

After your comments and more research I decided to pass. A good deal is not so good if the purchase doesn't work properly. Thanks again for your input.

    Flail mower too Large?

Thanks for the replies. It is hard to pass up a great deal. If the weight is 900+ pounds I'm sure it is too heavy. The model is stamped on the tag as a ford 22-124. After researching online some state this is also designated as a ford model 907 which comes in at 602 lbs. I'll see if I can...

    Flail mower too Large?

I was just offered a 6 ft flail mower for a great price but believe it is too large for a bx-23. Does anyone have experience with this?

Changing BX23 Fuel Filters takes 3.5 Hours!

That is part of my problem. I get a great sense of satisfaction from "piddling" on my tractor. I'm afraid the wife is getting suspicious or maybe jealous.

Changing BX23 Fuel Filters takes 3.5 Hours!

Thought I would spend about 30 minutes changing the fuel filters on my BX23 but while preforming this task, I noticed the air cleaner bracket had broken and needed re-welding. Then I remembered I needed to measure to make a HST fan shield and it was obvious that a wash and a grease job was...

    BX23 PTO clutch problem

I have a somewhat similar problem with my "new to me" BX23. With 470 hours on it the machine had never had the BH removed and had never used a belly mower. When I removed the BH and attached my bush hog the clutch pedal will not disengage the PTO. Anyone have ideas?

    BX23 Service manual

Reasonable.... $20-$40 Good. $1-$20 Better. $0 Best. Guess my opinion of reasonable is changing. With my daughter starting North Carolina State University in a few months, the number of checks I am writing is increasing to the point that I may have to sell the tractor (hope not). But gotta cut...

    BX23 Service manual

Where did you find the online version. The printed version I found was a little over $80.

    BX23 Service manual

Searched for a good price on a BX23 Service Manual but what I've found is several websites that are no longer active, sites that have changed and don't have service manuals listed, and sites that my security software says are unsafe. Does anyone have access to a reasonable service manual for...

    BX23 Driveshaft Fan Broken

Got my fan today. Cost $9.00. I thought it cost that much just to look at Kubota parts. Saw a former student of mine that works as a mechanic at the Kubota place and he was telling me he wasn't sure about my model but he thought I would have to remove the engine to replace the fan. That...

    BX23 Driveshaft Fan Broken

The machine is a 2005 with 480 hours. I was planning to change the transmission oil and filter so I will get that done ASAP. Hope the Kubota dealer has the fan in stock so I can get that done this PM.

    BX23 Driveshaft Fan Broken

Purchased a BX23 a few days ago. When I was changing the oil today I saw the driveshaft fan is broken. The machine runs fine. How can I tell if the HST is damaged? Is there anything I should do besides replacing the fan?

    Help with Loader for B7100

Well, things changed quickly over the past 4 days. I was offered a 2005 Kubota BX23 with loader and backhoe for $8800. The BX23 has 400 hours and has been well maintained and garage kept. I decided to buy the BX23 this morning with the hope I could sell my B7100 quickly. Unbelievably my...

    Help with Loader for B7100

I really appreciate the great pictures in the posts. I can see from the pics when you turn your muffler vertical an extension is needed to keep from sucking fumes. Is this a Kubota part or more simply an off-the-shelf item? Also I have seen several ideas for ballast weight. I was thinking...

    Help with Loader for B7100

Thanks guys! I really appreciate all the advice and help. Due unforeseen family commitments I can't get away to see the tractor in person for a couple of days. Hopefully it will still be available.

    Help with Loader for B7100

Hi folks! I have been monitoring this site picking up great information for a while and appreciate all the good info. I have a B7100 and ran across a B6100 with a factory loader installed that is cheaper than I can purchase a coldwater loader unit (with shipping). Will a B6100 unit fit a...
