    Found Another One

Just throwing this out there but. . . why not find a 80gal (or the biggest you can find) air tank from a junked air compressor system. Should be able to find one with a 3/4 or larger threaded tap. A mechanical contractor I know is often pulling out old units for new replacements. They just...

Icing at point of rotation on snowblower

I clean mine after use and put a good schmear of grease over it. I converted mine to electric rotation so I'm not sure it would turn at all with any ice build up on it.

Photo shoot anything lately? Random Photo Thread

When I was a kid we used to eat it. It's very tasty. I understand its part of the lobster's digestive system. I think now its frowned upon eating because it accumulates toxins that may be in the water.

lol - I forget which forum it was, probably fredmiranda.com, that I gave my entire darkroom away on. A user from Maine drove down. Was going to give it to his son to learn how to develop and print. I had a Bessler 23C, 23C with color head and a 45M enlargers. I'm sure you can imagine all the...

Photo shoot anything lately? Random Photo Thread

Getting ready for Florida vacation. Trying to get some practice with new camera but too cold outside for me to go shooting. Decided to set up tripod by kitchen slider. I have to work to do on learning to shoot with this body! @nerwin / @botaman - I also shot a lot of Kodak product many years...

So how often to grease the snow blower?

lol! Doesn't look so hard to me :) I made up the angle iron rollers that bolt right into the shoe holes. After mounting, just lift up and swap out for the shoes. In the spring reverse process. Oh, yes getting into basement is so much easier when one side is walkout, with a garage door. :)

So how often to grease the snow blower?

I just mounted my 3pt blower yesterday and was getting ready now to go grease the zerks and wipe some down the chain. In the past I have always greased it at the beginning and end of the season. So the 1st thing that occurred to me was it's just been sitting in the basement for 9 months. . . ...

    What's next?

A few years ago when I was actively chasing DX stations on amateur radio (rare or unusual stations) I would go to my local Wells Fargo branch and 'order' $200 in $2 bills. I would send one with my 'qsl card' (a postcard size card with confirmation info of our contact) to cover the postage for...

and at night I'd bet at 200' away someone is going to identify it as a full size machine. It is legal to fly your drone at night - with anti-collision lights. People saying these are 10' long, or more, have no perspective at night how far something is away and how large it is. I'm betting its...

    At What Point.

Sore subject with me :( As @InTheWoods stated most people can't afford the risk - even on their cars. I was always under the impression if you had a good personal relationship with an insurance agent you would get good advise and 'reasonable' pricing - which was fine with me. When it came to...
