How does GPM Translate into Work Getting Done?

He asked a theoretical question, did he not? My statement stands. What is his system? Is he increasing the demand of his current pump? I have no idea what he is doing, he did not say. Let's assume that he wants to add a log splitter attachment and the cylinder he wants to use requires 22gpm...

How does GPM Translate into Work Getting Done?

I'll disagree with the above. If you have a system that requires 22gpm and a pump that produces 11gpm you will only get half the work done. You will also have a pressure drop as the pump cannot supply the demand. The pressure control valve is what equalizes and protects the entire system.

Without being there myself.......... The arm on the left, with the turnbuckle intact....Loosen the turnbuckle to gain width. The one on the right should swing out. The brackets or 'clamps' as you refer to it is what moves the mid-mount mower up and down. Are they interfering? I would not...

Right arm on the 3point won't lift
