    Loader frame lids

I wonder what stops it from vibrating out. Couldn't see a pin or locking mechanism, but what a great idea.

    Canopy - anyone made one?

Sorry - I should have mentioned that I'm in Australia in my post. Nonetheless, I may end up buying the OEM product @ around A$500 with mounting kit, albeit only made from polycarbonate but should come with some sort of warranty. My dilemma is that I have a small landscaping business that...

    Canopy - anyone made one?

I like this idea. Practical and inexpensive. Not sure I can obtain a golf-cart canopy in my area, but worthwhile looking into. Could be an eBay search or Gumtree maybe. I'll also check out wrecking yards / bone yards of other machinery like mini excavators to see what they have available.

    Canopy - anyone made one?

Had a quick look at their website. Looks like a nice product, however given I'm in Australia, shipping costs could make this proposition quite expensive, that is if they ship overseas. Just spotted this on fleabay - check out the shipping cost to Australia!

    Kubota M7500DT quits when warm

If it's hard to start when it's warm, it sounds like it could be an overheating issue. I would check the water pump too. Given the hours the machine has done, it's likely to be a combination of things - thermostat, water pump, injectors may need cleaning etc. I would give it a good going-over...

    Canopy - anyone made one?

I'm about to receive my new tractor. The dealer tried to sell me the factory canopy but when I inspected it and spoke to another owner who had this canopy (made from plastic) I decided against it, as I couldn't justify the cost and my friend showed me the damage his had suffered in a very short...

    Hooks on a bx bucket

What about a skid-steer 4 in 1 bucket? I'm about to take delivery of my new MX 5200 with 4 in 1 and wondering where I can mount hooks?

It's hard to be patient when you are waiting for a new toy eh? I've had to wait over 6 weeks now, due in part to supply problems because of Covid and shipping overseas from Japan. Oh well, not long now I hope!

I'll be posting some pics when the new machine arrives. Still getting prepared for the upgrade - things like Cat 1 to Cat 2 (bushes make it easy) and making my ballast box from a plastic drum filled with concrete - quoted in excess of AU$1000 for the genuine box! Made mine for under $100.

Yup - the other side of the continent mate. Bloody cold here right now too. I lived in Kal for 14 years before heading to the S/W of WA. Have fond memories of the place. Stay safe and keep that border closed!

A Better Front Brush Guard Please!

Looks really good and very practical too. Something I must do, as I'm in the middle of a forests and when pushing up piles of branches, I'm sure it'll be just a matter of time before a stray limb pokes a hole in my radiator/grill assembly. So how did you guys fix this - mig or stick welder?

Hi all and many thanks for the free membership. By way of introduction, I've been a loyal Kubota owner for over 20 years. I've recently upgraded my L2850 with BX500 loader with a new MX 5200 HST tractor with a loader and 4 in 1 bucket. Still waiting patiently for delivery which should happen in...
