Ya - I got it and saw it lol. Safety bikini bottoms... Would be a bit of a distraction for me I'm afraid....I wouldn't be looking at where the tractor wheels were, but somehow focused on what's above me...
It will be a 318 poly block for sure. 273, 318, 340 and 360 are all small block motors. Big blocks are the 383, 400, 426 and 440 for Chrysler. Picks of the bunch are of course the 340 and 426. Both revered motors and command big dollars these days.
Very inventive. Not sure about the legalities, or safety compliance, but nevertheless it looks functional and I must admit to using my pallet forks with pallet as a means to lift a person to clean gutters etc. The IBC cage would provide a sense of security and something to hold on to also.
What I'm considering using them for is only a one toilet septic system (black water). We have an old caravan that back-packers use during the summer months. Due to lack of bathing facilities, they must come up to our home and use our bathroom, which my wife no longer tolerates. I'll be building...
No - a Subaru Brumby is not related to a Holden (GM product). They no longer make them, but they were a handy light weight 4 x 4 that many farmers here used extensively. Mine was a bush-find... had been rolled onto its side, thus the panel damage. I paid $200 for it, got it going again, put...
I admire the inventive nature of members on this forum and have learned a great deal from reading posts here. I'm curious to find out what members have used IBC containers for? I've seen them used as firewood storage units, for aquaponics, compost bins and more. I'm interested in finding out...
What have members used to secure the hydraulic top link? Have you modified the OEM wire hook, purchased an after-market holder or made one suitable for your specific cylinder?
Thank-you so much for all the pics and advice. My GC canopy is on its way and should arrive in the next week or so. Seller was a lovely older gent who managed to get a very good rate on shipping through his daughter, so total cost to me so far is only A$260
Should be taking delivery of my new...
So after a bit of ringing around to get a fair shipping quote, the seller has agree to pack and ship to me. Total cost is A$320 which I thought was good given it's coming from the other side of our country (equivalent to small town Maine - smaller town Cal). Now just have to wait and plan the...
Hope you don't mind if I plagiarise your design a bit? If you have any other pics of the frame you made for yours, I would be obliged. Needless to say, I'll have to modify slightly to suit my yet to arrive MX5200 but will try to document for the benefit of others. TIA
Decided to browse through Gumtree listings looking for a GC canopy and came across this. Seller is based on the other side of the country and says 'pick up only' but I've asked if they would be willing to ship to me (I pay for shipping obviously). Looks identical to your canopy NHSleddog and at...
Wow! I'm impressed with how inventive members of this forum are. The GC canopy looks a treat, as does the fold-down one. Wish I had access to a GC canopy here. Sadly, my fabrication skills are somewhat lacking. That said, I'll have a crack at most things and will come up with a solution in time...
