Chasing a leak on my BX2000 transmission. Would like to start by tightening the 3 covers. Does anyone have the torque specification?

Looking online I found aluminum and plastic spacers made to take the line. @Pau7220 I am not sure how that soft plastic line would help. Are you sliding it between the tubes or over them? @GreensvilleJay Although loctite is wonderful stuff I think I will have move confidence with a jam nut.

Follow up. Maybe it will help others. Order the parts from Coleman. Installed the 3 lines. The two bolts and the sturdy factory clamp can crush the lines without undo torque. It is more or less a vice, I stopped when the center line started going oval. The lines can take a load of internal...

BX2200 but maybe generic. Quick question. Parts diagram shows the hydraulic line clamps, #100 below, "CLAMP, TUBE 75538-68610", bolting directly down on the steel hydraulic lines. Is this really the way it should be done? My lines are smashed in on top directly under the clamps. Purchased...

Just want to add a note to this thread. In my opinion it is far better to use a sealant on leaking threads rather than going gorilla attempting to tighten. I use Loctite 545 Pneumatic/Hydraulic Thread Sealant. Taking the joint apart also provides a chance to inspect.

Happens to me too. The tractor has maybe 1700 or so hours on it. Started to change the quick connects and finished 2 of the 3 pair. The last pair is so tight I can't get them to come off. So I can't operate the tractor w/o the loader until I get that sorted. This is motivation to have...

My BX2200 is one of the first ones made and the loader controls come off with the loader. With the loader off one is supposed to connect the power beyond port to the pump port as shown in the image. Is there a problem with moving the tractor without making this connection? Can one mow with it?

Yeah I lost my u-joint too when the roll pin broke. Never found it. I was originally thinking this roll pin might be acting as a shear pin. Newer BX's use the solid pins in place of the roll pin so I am going with that. Less chance of losing another u-joint and if I do I will not be faced...

Thanks for replying. EDIT: The diagram for a BX2660D uses part 190 the solid pin you described in all 3 locations. I will go with that. ignore the rest..... The diagram below is for the BX2200. Checked for your tractor and it too uses these part numbers although the call outs in the image...

The parts diagram shows a 'PIN SPRING', id'd call it a rolled pin, holding the u-joint to the transmission front axle output shaft. My tractor had the propeller shaft flipped and the spring pin was holding the sliding u-joint to the front axle . It sheared and is stuck in the front axle...

Could the problem be the control valve rather than the cylinder?
