Kubota (Koo-Bow-Tuh) would be correct. But many folks pronounce it (Kuh-Bow-Tuh) and go on to spell it phonetically 'Kabota'.

I live in rural Deep East Texas, so I am used to hearing all kinds of 'butchered' names for things.

Yes, that could well be the case. But my little garden tractor has 5 large labels (and lots of smaller ones) with "Kubota" on them, each easiliy readable without glasses

Exactly. I'm certainly not making excuses for anyone. Kubota made every attempt to make sure the brand name is prominently displayed.

My boat is powered by a 200 hp Yamaha outboard, but there is a connection between Yamaha and Kubota albeit a tenuous one. But it would be kind of awesome to head out on the Great Loop in a boat powered by a couple of Kubota diesel engines. Add that to my wish list I guess.

It was almost Deerree green when I found that can of Kiboota gray was over 20 bucks. I live in Dear country and Dere paint was 5 bucks less. .
