How do you guys and ladies store your singular 3pt Hitch sub soil plow? I have a CountyLine sub soiler and middle buster that I would like to store upright instead of just laying somewhere outside on the ground.

For odd implements like this, I make a heavy pallets with blocking to hold the implements. ;)

I take a piece of wood (like some old rough cut oak) like 1" x 3" by the length from the 3pt hitch pin to the ground and add a couple of inches. Then drill a 1" hole that is pin height to ground level. Make two of them. Put one on each pin. will hold a plow, sub-soiler, just about anything.

I prefer to store my implements on wood pallets indoors and on vertical pallet racks.

Why spend thousands of dollars on equipment only to let them rust away outdoors?

Home made racks or commercial?
I have been thinking along the same lines. Just haven't come up with the plans yet.

I store some of my equipment on racks, but without pallets. I'm a bit short on height in my shed, and I worked out the pallet takes up quite a bit of space. I stack them directly on 2x4s that run fore and aft, and then I can push the pallet forks in and lift the implement directly. Depends what the implement is of course.

I keep my post hole digger hanging in a tree at the height where I can just back up to it and hook it right up. Everything else goes in the barn

Ive made racks and I bought used industrial pallet racks similar to the ones at places like costco and homedespot. My racks hold 3000lbs each level on 8 foot spans. I was able to get 16 footer uprights and I use a forklift to reach the racks over 10 feet.

Unless you really need something custom its cheaper to buy the used ones and you get better adjustability. My preference is to get the wire shelf infill covers as they take a lot of abuse and you can slide pallets on them without damaging anything. Avoid buying anything with twisted legs or repairs.

For the pallets I keep an eye out for good HD oak pallets. If you can find the ones with 1 inch boards on 3x3s you will be golden. On funky shaped items I make custom stands out of metal.

I put everything inside my shop on furniture dollies. If I lived out there would probably keep implements outside.

I built a rack in the back of the shed. 42” rotary cutter is on a dolly I made, it gets rolled under, along with mower deck that never gets used. Snow blower is on a pallet that is picked up with bxpanded bucket forks for the season. FEL goes on dolly and slides under left side.

That is awesome, wish I could store my stuff like that. Maybe someday. You would cringe if you seen how my stuff was stored lol

I love your setup. My problem is I have less shed and more equipment. Well, to be accurate, I have a lot less shed and only a little less equipment. But dollies and racks similar to you, and you push it around till it fits. More importantly, my workbench is in that same shed, the dollies let me take the tractor out then push equipment away from my workbench.

I'm also short on vertical height, so I can only stack so high - I tried to get 4 layers of equipment in, but there's too much timber in the shelves and the pallets. I may do some remodelling and shuffling when I get the new machine with SSQA and forks.
