Hello, looking for the best place to buy a deck gearbox rebuild kit for a 60" K5568-33105 gearbox. Not looking for the best price, want quality. No Chinese. Never rebuilt one before but do 95% of all mechanical work.

UPDATE: Thanks to all that replied to my post. I have rebuilt the Gearbox, and it works great with no leaks. Replaced everything with Kubota parts from my local dealer. The previous owner used Chinese Bearings when he rebuilt it. The bottom bearing cage broke into pieces.

Your local Kubota dealer will be able to get them. Or online you can order from Coleman’s or Messicks.

You should have the deck and “tractor “ serial numbers so you can be sure to get the correct parts

They are extremely easy to rebuild yourself with ordinary hand tools. Take lots of pictures for reference as you disassemble it.

Also.... keep a close eye on where the shims go and don't mix them up.... just saying.

"Not for nothin" but about 12 years ago I had a leaking gearbox in an XMark 48" walk behind mower.

I drained it and refilled it with John Deere Cornhead grease..... stopped the leaks.
sold it 2 years ago. The guy down the street still uses it every week.

X2. Tapped the fill plug on my old rotary cutter for a grease zerk and filled with corn head grease when it started leaking. Fixed it right up. Nominal cost so if it keeps leaking you haven’t lost much.

I did the same thing to a BMW K1200LT motorcycle....

That bike has a Divorced gear box / separate from the engine.

I filled the transmission with CH grease at about 70k miles.... sold it with 100k
same deal.... the guy that bought it still rides it in Jersey.... goin strong.

All flip parts are sourced from China. While they may be good, I would like to know how well they last.

That bike has a Divorced gear box / separate from the engine.

I filled the transmission with CH grease at about 70k miles.... sold it with 100k
same deal.... the guy that bought it still rides it in Jersey.... goin strong.

I second this. Make sure the vent is clear also. My batwing mower came with corn head grease in the gear boxes from the factory. Lots of gear boxes of this farm full of corn head grease and of course the ones on the corn head head are to.

FWIW, I have no first hand experience with Flip Parts. On F.B. Kubota ZD Owners, lots of mentions about buying parts through Flip Parts.
