Somebody made me a cherry pie.

She doesn’t like cherry pie.

I think she likes me.

After 42 years, sometimes it’s questionable…😉

She also made a raspberry pie. I like those too..

Ours birds laying like crazy, those are guinnea eggs for me tonight
Looks great to me!

Those are Guinea Hen eggs? Look small - 5 or 6? Bet they’re delicious.

Coworker has 12 hens and is always looking to share eggs.

Nothing better than fresh eggs.

Lawry’s Seasoned Salt - love that stuff. Literally used tons of it in my cooking days.

How do you do the baby taters?

I’ve been roasting/baking in covered pan with garlic, butter and fresh parsley or thyme or whatever works. Hell, even some smoked sausage slices would work.

Syracuse area originated “Salt Potatoes.” Small potatoes boiled with a lot of salt. Serve drained with drawn butter and I like a bunch of black pepper.

Started at a place in Syracuse that did clambakes all summer. Hinderwadel’s. Post WW II if I remember correctly. Bet @Tughill Tom has heard of them. Can still get Hinderwadel’s-branded Salts - 4 pounds of small potatoes and 12oz. of salt in the bag.

The Catering business I ran specialized in Clambakes. Sold tons of salt potatoes.

the Lawry’s is just pictured because that’s usually where it stays 😂 with the tonys even closer to arms reach 🤣

tater I do like you pretty much, toss em in a foil pan butter, garlic, s&p, garlic, basil I think is the only thing we got in the AeroGarden as far as herbs right now, garlic in case I had forgotten if I put any in then throw em on the pit.

beans, I cook the dry beans in the instant pot then into another foil pan, couple ribs cut off the slab end, bacon, Tasso, chorizo, sausage, bbq sauce, little apple cider vinegar, pepper and Tony’s, jalapeños and onion

Braised boneless pork chops, corn and some more of the same basmati rice we had last night.

Chops browned and braised in thyme, onion, garlic and a little bit of white wine.
