What Kubota tractors are the best.

I'm off on another thread, i'm not biased to any specific kubota tractor , but, the early "B" series have to be at the top of my list.
I have tried a fair few various kubotas but i still come back to my good friends the B6000, 7100 and 8200 , to me they are like your trusty old indoor slippers, old and a bit worn around the edges, but, they work well ,rarely let me down and i just love'em.

given the massive range of kubotas available , in any given class, what would be your top 3.
In the Sub-compacts, for me its got to be the B6000,7100 and 8200, with the 7100 at the top spot.

I would really love to know production figures for some of these machines.
The 6100/7100 must be up near the top of the sales in there class, they are just so spot on , the right size, power and build etc.

looking through all the forum etc and theredoes appear to be a lot of follows / owners of these small "B" series wonders

I like all the Kubotas, but the basic L series is my favorite.

I like my little B6100 and it has served me well as a great little tank but I'd love a bigger L series for the weight and power, plus having a loader and being more productive with my landscape business is my bottom line.

Move more material faster, get paid equicker and go onto the next job, repeat.

Great forum, found it while looking for a new Kubota. Had to comment on this thread. I also have a soft spot for the B series as I used to put them together after high school. They came in a crate and I had to install fenders ,batteries, anti freeze, Tires seat, steering wheel and the rest. This was in the 70's and I think the tractors came right from Japan then. We sold a lot of them and I still see them around...a B6100 down the street for sale $6000.00 with a loader.

I Love the old B series Tractors, I have a 1990 B9200 and it is Bullet Proof

I have owned my B7100 for almost one year. It has done everything I have needed it to do and hasn't backed down from any challenges.

I have a small >2 acre vegetable farm. Many of our growing plots are small and close together. Some people laughed when I bought the B7100, but now they are amazed at everything I am able to do with such a small, nimble machine.

My only complaint is it needs more front weights. I am working on that this winter.

I've contemplated a B20 but don't find many of them used in my neck of the woods. I see more of the L35's which would be real nice to own!

I would say the best model is the one which breaks down the least, costs less to own, and runs the longest. Other than that, it is all subjective.
I LOVE my B7100, and would consider it one of the best models that Kubota has made when everything is considered. Then again, there are so many models, all sharing common traits. Maybe the better question would be which model isn't worth owning? I can't think of one, other than a grey market that has no available parts. Kubota's are a safe purchase.

I'm with Bluegill on this. The L series have about 800 lbs on the B, and typically come with larger tires, yet are still small enough to get into tight spaces. Weight and tire size give you traction. Tractors are all about pulling things over or through the ground. L does it.
