Trying to resolve what to attach to the draw bar to be able to hook a strap or run a chain onto it.

Can't find a clevis that is both small enough for the pin to fit through the hole and big enough to fit over/under the draw bar.

Any help?

I have a big clevis that has a pin diameter of 0.875" on my L3130. Blue color clevis in photo

Just so happens I bought a 3/4" clevis from Harbor Freight (black one) for something else and it almost fits. The pin fits through the hole, but doesn't have enough clearance to fit on the drawbar completely. It's very close and would need a very small amount of material removal to fit without issue.

L3130 drawbar thickness: approximately 1.26"

What size hole is in your drawbar and what is the thickness?

Hopefully the pictures will help.

I usually have a twisted clevis on. Just what I'm used to using, and bought a box of 6 or 8 at an auction years ago. Most are kinda bent up, but they work!

2***8221; trailer ball for now. Been moving the boat out of the shop when working on bigger projects. Usually a clevis modified to fit the bar.

What's on my drawbar? Uhmmm. Nothing!

The M4500 came with a clevis style drawbar and a factory pin to fit. ;)
Yes.... I still have the original pin, but rarely use it except for tow straps or chains. It's too big for most of my implement tongues.
