My tractor (G5200) is leaking but I have no idea what it is. It might be diesel fuel, but I also thought maybe transmission fluid. What color is transmission fluid supposed to be? This thing is old and all I know is it's leaking from the back driver side. Any advice would be appreciated.

If it is diesel , you should be able to tell from the smell. If it is hydraulic oil it should be clear amber or if it is old it may be closer to brown. Some machine's have automatic transmission fluid (ATF) which is red or purple. Some where on your machine you should be able to check the level of your hydraulic or transmission oil.

got it, definitely diesel fuel. I think it's coming from the fuel pump. I've heard that the seals go out after a while.
