Nice haul S-G-R! I'd appreciate more info on the fenders. If someone on this side of the border wants 'em, it becomes a DIY project. I'm guessing that round piece over the grease zerk is hollow and capped for access to the zerk?

Installed my @5elevendesignz.com third function guard this morning. It's a very solid piece.

I havent paid for them yet so no part number. Kubota offer two kits. A fixed mount and this style that turns with the wheel.

No, there's a gap underneath and a 90° zerk.

I you are right about the recent decline in Husqvarna quality. All of my Husky stuff is pre Chinese mfg. except for the 550XP Mark II I bought in 2023. All except the 550XP are still serving me well after many years. I still run a 359 a lot. And my 346XP lasted 14 years with heavy usage before it bit the dust. The 550XP failed with main bearing seize-up after a year. To their credit Husqvarna replaced the saw under warranty with a upgraded (supposedly) brand new saw which has only a year plus on it now.

gg
Do you happen to still have the 346?

Put the backhoe on the tractor today, I normally do this once a year to get backhoe related projects done while it's attached.
Attaching this thing is hit or miss, get lined up right the first time or fight with it for a while. I guess if I did it more often it may get easier.
I have the wife help me with it so that if it takes a long time maybe she will say "Why don't you just get an excavator?" Hasn't worked yet, she has way too much patience :(

I think while the SO is helping attach it and you are struggling / frustrated, I would say something like…honey I really appreciate you helping, but if I am being honest I am worried that if this tips over I would not forgive myself if something happened to you. Then ask her opinion regarding safety of operations if we should sell the BH and get a mini and SWAN? Ask her to be honest. If the price difference comes up go back to you it doesn’t matter, you could not live with yourself in trying to save a nickel and something happened to her trying to help you. Tell her you are not worried about the money it’s the additional storage space and not sure you want to eat up more floor space (who knows maybe you get a new barn or shop too🤷‍♂️). Ask if you should not be focus on space to sacrifice safety.

Anyway I think modify the approach slightly and you will be in the promised land soon enough. (Get the commitment on safety, not price or anything else and let SO decide which is safer…just JMHO)

If I earn it I burn it. If I do the work I buy the tools.

Problem is excavators are expensive and I can't yet justify the cost, but that day is likely coming...

I mounted myself a toolbox, which I was desperately missing. Now there is a room for all !

Was going to head out to do some plinking and found this...

Range fix 1.jpg

Shoddy construction I suppose. Either that or a bear tore into it.

The fix started...

Well, my tarp shed lasted a whopping 8 days. First use of the grapple on the L5460.

Digging some petrified potatoes today this morning…some even have some battle scars and orange war paint🤔. Still nothing like turning the B in to a massage chair. 😉
