Haven't used the tractor for a while, but I used it to bring a small generator up to the garage to work on it. Beats pulling it up the hill by hand. What did we all do before we had tractors?

I installed led's in the tail lights and hazzard lights and then moved a couple of trailers around.

Mower deck off, and put the front hitch on as well as the PTO shaft.

I changed motor oil in the spring. No other tractor service needed this fall.

Our burn ban finally went off this week. I spent some time burning. The main pile cooked off quick:
Now I am feeding from the stockpile. The grapple is sooo great for this work.
The down side is, it is wet out, and that means mud. I am trying to minimize the squirreling around so I don't make too much of a mess. The rain has let up today, so I should be able to get things burned up without too much of a muddy mess.

I noticed your third function valve in the 3rd picture is similar to how I've done my L35. Is yours OEM?
Hooked up a rear LED light and hooked up the cab heater and added rubber floor mats today.
One question I do have for the techs here is I noticed my fan belt being ten yrs old looks a little worn and stretched.
I know I should change it and am going to. But looking at the fan in the plastic housing around the radiator it doesn't look like room enough to slide the belt over the fan to get it on without removing the fan possibly???

Went out to the farm Saturday. Beans are almost ready. Although the rain Friday and the drizzle on Saturday meant the beans would be waiting.

PVC for sewer and drains, not water supply. Copper only for city water, poly for private well supply.
I'm no farmer, so please excuse my ignorance. Are the beans for feed or fuel? Or just as a cover to het mulched in?
We have a few fields like that around us. Just don't know what they do with em.

More than half of soybeans grown in the US is used for animal feed. 10 to 20 percent of soybeans grown are used for human food. Plus a small percentage is used for biodiesel fuels.
There are different types of beans and the ones you see in the picture will most likely be used for animal food. They will be processed and add into different feed bags for various animals (pigs, chickens, livestock, etc.).
It is not unusual in our area for winter wheat to be planted in the fall and then harvested early summer and double crop of beans to be planted.
I would have guessed a higher % for food, soybean oil for instance. In west Tn, the bean harvest is well underway and cotton is heating up.
Corn was finished a month or so ago. I thought I saw a green corn field a few days ago, but finally saw it was sorghum.

Here is a chart that explain the use. There are basically two parts to soybeans, the meal and oil. Depending how you break it down, gives you the different percentages.

Yes, as far as I can tell. I have seen pictures of another l48 on the forum that has the same third function valve setup as mine. I guessing it was originally set up for a 4 in 1 bucket, back in the day.
