installed Fit-Rite Top-N-Tilt! I think I was more eager to get this kit than the entire tractor. Just in time to spread 10-tons of stone tomorrow too.

I have really liked my Fit-Rite Top-N-Tilt on my L4060. The only difference was I had the DPOCV added to the side link because my rear remotes would leak down and were a a pain. With the DPOCV added have NEVER had that problem! Brian makes an EXCELLENT product, well worth the wait!

I've been putting in a new leach field for an old septic tank on our property. I'm amazed at how well the BH77 does. So glad I got the backhoe, since I dig and then need to turn around and move the dirt to have access to put the gravel in this trench. Loving the L3560 and 4WD! The trenches are about 6 feet deep and 3 feet wide!

Took the covering off the L260, put the battery in and started it for the first time since last fall. Still amazes me home much easier it is then trying to get an old gas tractor going after the winter. Old gas was updraft carb and had to clean all electrical connections to get it to go. And sometimes still have to boost it. Drove the L around a couple of times before parking it in the garden which will be its 1st job for the season coming up.

It's been raining and cold the last couple of days so I had to put off finishing the spreading of my mulch. The tractor makes it too easy. I ended up dropping buckets of the stuff too close together. So for the 1st 3 or 4 yards I have to rake it more to 'thin' it out.
At least today I got a chance to grease everything without wearing any grease at the end. A new record.
I also replaced my casters that I had put on my Woodland Mills WC68's shipping base. They were 5" and I found after moving the chipper on it a couple of times that the quality studs they used were starting to bend. Not very reassuring. I replaced them with 3" ones, hoping that the bending moment is now less on them (they are the same size studs).

Greased everything, got some backhoe seat time removing 2 8" pine stumps from a couple of 60' trees I dropped a couple of days ago.

Found the limits of the HST pushing the blade in reverse. Turns out, peeling up sod is not exactly a trivial task. Running at high RPM doing some actual work got the exhaust system warm enough for the first time to “bake” the paint — just a faint smell getting run-in.

Dad and I went out Friday evening and spent a couple of hours mowing. The forecast was for more rain and they were right. Got most of what we wanted cut, but need to take the pole saws and do some tree trimming to allow for better access to a few spots.

Spent the day with my youngest son at my land cleaning up brush piles and grading the tractor shed site. I enjoy getting the work done, but enjoy time spent with him more. He is a good operator. Good eye, goes slow, understands the mechanics of tractor and implements.

Installed the weight bracket on the Ford and 6 weights. I know it's blue, but I did buy the weights and brackets from my Kubota dealer. I welded 2 Kubota brackets together so it'll hold 8 weights, but I only bought 6. 300# on the front with the bush hog sure feels better.
And I installed the SMV sign on the L35. Welded a couple of clamps on the bracket and clamped it onto the bucket cylinder.
And, graciously drove the loader so my BIL could load about 100 4" blocks from my sister's garden they're taking down.

Spent about a hour with the box scraper ripping soil where the new garden is going to be....worked really well and good prep before I hook up the tiller and give it a few over before planting.
Why did I wait so long to buy my new tractor?
My advice to anyone waiting....spend the money and enjoy tractor time.

Sharpened the mower blades and mowed the yard for the first time this year.
They're predicting a possibility of snow on Tues/Wed.
Spring time in Indiana. :cautious:
