Got the Kubota ready for wednesday's delivery of a foot or more of white s**t. Looks like we are in the storm's crosshairs. I suppose we'll be making up for the lack of snow last year. :(
Yepppp, looks like you ARE in the crosshair`s! Its going to just barely miss us here. I`m sure we`ll get some. I was kind of anxious to try out my new snow set-up, but not to worry, winter hasnt even arrived yet. I`m sure i`ll be tired of it after the first hit...lol. Be safe out there!

Nice job! The brush guard made with the punched metal offer much more protection then expanded metal. It does restrict the use of effective lights though.

Greased the tractor, checked all the fluids, tires, lights, topped off the fuel tank, she`s ready for the snow.
Starting to snow here now. Wed Thur we`ll see what happens with this storm.

I did the same, got her fueled up, lubed up, back blade and front blade on, sitting in the garage waiting for Wednesday's snow. I'm in north east PA, about half way between the two of you guys. Hunker down, and stay safe, warm, and dry, and enjoy!

Must be the thing to do :) I also greased everything today, checked out the back blade, fueled the tractor and put battery charger on old MEP-003A, old 10kw diesel military genset (with less than 100hrs on it). I'm as ready as I'm going to be.

OHHHHHHHHH man, i`m glad you mentioned your battery charger! I thought about that for a second, and i wasnt positively sure. So i went back out to the shop to make sure my battery tenderer was plugged in, it was NOT. When i got done out in the shop after getting things all situated and turned the tractor around in the garage, i had forgot to plug the ole girl back in! So THANK YOU for bringing that up in your post!!! Old timers decease kickin in on me, i dont usually forget to plug it back in when i shut the tractor off, but i DID today!

I've got to sop looking at the forecast...now up to 15". :(

The winter before we moved back down to lehigh valley from the Poconos (2016), they had a storm in January that dumped 32-33" in the lehigh valley. We got about 20" in the poconos. I distinctly remember shoveling off two roof's that winter and pushing back piles of snow into the woods with the little BX23.

Hey thank you, but i think dirtydeed is gonna need alot more luck than me. We`ll get some snow, but he`s gonna get blasted harder than us i`m afraid. What a difference a few miles can make. He and his bota are gonna get a work out for sure by the looks of the storm thats brewing. I just hope he goes careful. Snow aint no joke where he lives.

Yes sir! NEPA has a big snow coming! I cant wait! Retired with tractor! I hope we get 3 feet! I live on a small mountain or HILL as some may call it. Only 1850 above sea leavel but its enough that we get way more snow than the surrounding area! Just hope I dont have to deal with shoveling the roof!

Several years ago (2013??) we got the snowfall of my lifetime. For whatever reason it was a big storm but hit a section around us really hard. We got 40" of snow + drifts. Our dogs walked over the 4' high fence. At the time I had an L3400HST with a 5' Normand (Canadian) rear blower. It took me 3 hours to do our 500' driveway. I had to raise the 3ph all the way, take a bite, drop it and then take the same bite.
After that everything is a piece of cake!
After doing our driveway I came in for coffee and to warm up. Of course our street wouldn't be plowed for another day (the town is usually awesome at plowing). Then my neighbor with a Ford tractor called and asked if I had any spare diesel. It took me another 2 hours to cut a path 500 more feet on the street to bring him 5 gallons.
