I'm trying to get my back blade to dig in a bit more. What do you suggest for weight? I have a nice newish/shiny back blade. With that said, I realize pretty doesn't equal practical. I'm looking at mounting my chainsaw on it as well. Unless the weight won't allow enough room.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thank You,

Chris

10$ in hardware. They were tossing out the expanded metal at work. Scavenged the angle iron from stuff that was being scrapped:D:D

I have seen a rear scraper blade have a 'sprayer' tank added atop it and used as a sprayer yet filled with water for using the blade... dual purpose implement.

If you are near a crawler tractor dealer, such as Cat, go in their yard and look for their junk box. If good weights are there, see if you can buy them at junk price. Lots of good stuff comes from worn out rollers and other parts for crawlers. Steel is many time more dense than concrete blocks, takes less room.

Lots of different blades made different ways. Maybe post a picture or 2 or at least a make and model number so we can get you ideas that might work for your application.
