Looking to start building my tool box for simple maintenance and common issues that come up while operating a tractor.
I currently live 30 minutes from my property and it makes it easier being able to fix things on site. Not having to drive back and forth for tools.
List some “must have” tools here to help me!
Thanks!!

Well,

Some are not tools but are needed!

I would have a 75 or better piece socket set - SAE / METRIC (more metric needed)

A set of open/box end wrenches - up to at least 19 mm.....

Grease gun - with spare tube

Extra engine oil / hydraulic oil just in case

Filters for all places

Portable air tank

Screwdrivers ......... assorted

A roll of paper towels.

A pair of "GOOD Vice grips)

A 5/16" chain - 20 feet min.

Rope - 50' 3/8"

Extra snap rings for 3 points implements

more people will have more items...........

Similar request:

Throw in disposable gloves and waterless hand cleaner.
Make sure you have tools to work on the implements as well as the tractor.
Hitch pins, clips, etc tend to jump off.

A handgun and a cell phone. If it breaks down use the cell phone. If you see a snake use the handgun. I don't try to repair stuff in the field, I take it back to my workshop. If it won't run, I call for a ride if it's too far to walk, and come back to drag it home.
