I've got a l3710 with the cast lift arm broke and need to replace it. The middle arm is the broken one. From what I see the left arm is the one that needs to be removed but I a not quite sure about how to

I'm a little confused???

What part are you talking about?
There is no "middle arm" in a three point.

The only thing close that I can thing of is the arm that connects the rock shaft to the piston, is that what your talking about?

Pictures help a lot in these cases. ;)

Sounds like it's the link between the upper arm and the actual lift arm that hooks to the implement.

Agree with Wolfman, need pics.

Right, the parts drawing shows the shaft sliding out to the right with the left arm removed. Looks like there are a couple versions of part 080, depending on the machine's serial no.

What were the conditions when it broke?

In 2004 a local L4610 with a logging winch suffered a major housing failure (see pics). There were two logs drawn up tight and a load in the bucket. Going over a rise, the front wheels dropped down and BANG!. It may not seem so, but you were lucky compared to that! Take care, Dick B

Remove the bolts on the left lift arm to remove it, remove the snap ring on the right lift arm to remove it.
Use a piece of wood or brass to drive it left to right. ;)

And WOW, I've seen very few of those broken over the years!

I've seen it 4 times on the same tractor! Same owner too. MX5100. This tells me that someone's doing something with their tractor that they shouldn't be doing.
