A picture is worth a thousand words right? The Summit Hydraulics couplers arrived today but I'm still waiting on the PTFE paste that was supposed to be here last week. You can see the arrangement of the coupler and adapter (screwed in hand tight) which will replace the Faster 3CFPV couplers.

I'll stick with the sticky stuff! The PTFE paste showed up late today and it contains "virgin" PTFE. None of that "used and abused" stuff for me! 😂

It's cold and wet outside so I decided to get all six couplers and adapters assembled on the kitchen counter. I even got to use a couple of the Proto wrenches that I found on Craigslist last year. I needed an 1-1/16" wrench for the coupler and a 7/8" wrench for the adapter.

The hardest part is over. Next up is to remove the Faster couplers and install these which won't take long. Hopefully the weather is nicer tomorrow. I want to get this done before I have hand surgery next week since there's no way I'll be turning wrenches with my thumbs and a middle finger all cut up.
