I have a 1984 L245 and wanted to see if anyone has installed a temperature gauge on an 80’s model L245. If so, how is it done? Thanks

I think there is a plug on the top of head in the back right corner. I think you have depth room for a standard gauge sending unit.

Probably need a fitting for a Japanese car sensor. I think the tractor will have some BSPP or BSPT tapped hole.

I also recall seeing a thread or two showing the location of the sensor hole.

You need a BSPP ( British Standard Pipe Parallel ) adapter.
