Been there a pretty long time.

But a mere 'toothpick' compared to some of the Old Growth trees felled in the PNW years ago.

No no no. He’d hook each of his M’s to one side of the saw and drive forward a bit, dismount, remount other tractor and do the same. Over and over. M’s are far superior, didn’t you know?

Most folks today would not have the capability or dedication to sharpen that saw in the pic much less use it. Most people today could not fell that tree with whichever stihl or husky they have for that matter. Those were real Americans that made do with way less than is available today.

I must respectfully disagree. If I started July 1 I would be done by July 2 at the latest. The tree would have a minor flesh wound but I would be done.
