I'm starting to change all the lubricants and fluids on my used M9.

I started on the front drives, draining the old oil and replacing it with 80-90 GL5 gear oil. So far, the outboards were full as well as the center section and the previous owner, like me, used 80-90 gear oil instead of SUDT. Nice thing about the bigger units is, it's pretty easy to access all drain and fill plugs.

Bit dirty but not unexpected with 3500 hours on it.

I'll update this as I go through it.

One good thing with it having gear oil in the axle you know it was changed at least once in it's life.

I changed my gear oil at 200 hrs. It was cheap and easy, so why not?
