I do that but it seems that the front is barely on the hitch end and it moves when you raise the thrower.It's not locked onto the PTO shaft . You push it on until you until it stops & then you pull back on the sleeve on the coupler & push till you her a click

It should lock in the tractor side. Implement side is usually bolted to the driveline....and it moves when you raise the thrower....
