I finally brought my b1750 back to life and and was showing her around the yard. When I parked her I noticed this leak. I think there’s a crack at the top of what Kubota calls the joint case(the part with all the fluid on it). My question is, is there suppose to be fluid in there or do I have a bad seal at the what Kubota calls the spacer? I did see that both the spacer and joint case have oil seals on an exploded view. Thanks ahead of time for any help.

Where ever that leak is coming from - the oil has water in it and needs to be changed pronto!

Wipe that down and get a better picture of the surrounding area so that we can see it better.

I take it - that is engine oil? or is that hydraulic oil?

Smells like gear oil.

I think the front dif is trying to tell me she loves me. Haha. So seems like a lot of water got in there. I can’t find a vent anywhere. The center cover wasn’t on so I’m thinking water went down the pipe/guard. I’m at the point of better to be safe then sorry and just pulling the front axle off and replacing the seals cause when I took the rubber boot off in back of where it was leaking fluid started coming out of there also.

Not sure where your axle vent is on that machine or IF there is a vent.

Could the oil be over filled?

No matter what - I would empty and then place the cheapest 80w-90 in there and ride around for an hour and empty it again!!!

Oil in the axle is typically right at the center line when full.

GO HERE - this will download to your computer :

Read page 35 and 36
I poured some old ShopRite 5w-30 I was given in there as a 1st flush then I’ll run some diesel through it and go with the cheap stuff till it clears up.

Looks like you got plenty of water in there and it froze, cracking that piece.

This seal is toast!
The cover is really just a dust / dirt shield!

The top of the tube has a seal too that's probably damaged.
