According to Tractordata Dot com these were made between 2001 t0 2005.

Kubota did not record birth year in serial numbers... In tractor world, the year is irrelevant. Though have heard you can contact Kubota by email with your serial number and they can look up age for you. Again though you do not need year figure for ordering parts.

I am not sure why you are telling him the serial numbers and year are irrelevent in the tractor world. Apperently, you don't know they are just as important as any other piece of equipment. Without the serial number, you can't find the correct parts if there was a running change made on the tractor that is only denoted by the serial number it was changed at. Also, in many older tractor brands, having the correct serial is the difference between a $1000 dollar tractor or a &75,000 tractor.

BAP you misread my intended statement. Wrote it to say the year of manufacture was irrelevant not that the serial number was irrelevant. In review though can see how my words could be perceived as you read it. Anyway.... to make it more clear; reworded my original post just a bit.

Thanks for the replies, i was mostly curious about the yr model to base the hourly use of the tractor on yrs of age. could be as many as 130-40 a yr or less than 100. I thought maybe there was a list of serial #'s somewhere it could be compared to. Does the "utility special" on the hood mean anything or just another decal that came on all tractors in this age class?
