Exactly what I had in mind.I made a flexible spring with a quick connect to mount to the loader so it's easy to take off and leave with the grapple. The base (circular part) is clamped, and stays with the loader.
I'd weld a metal tang and mount hose clamps to take the strain when your hose flexes. The grapple I got comes with extra hydraulic hose for full tilt.
What are you guys doing to secure it so it doesn’t get pinched or torn from the machine?
Using a bungee cord for now.

That's a good use for that rubber thing that's useless in it's original purpose of holding the drop arms together. Fairly soon after I bought my Kubota, I replaced the turnbuckle stabilisers with the much better telescopic ones that rendered the rubber thing as surplus.Using a grapple you have to be careful some material doesn't snag the quick attach levers and release one. Then you can get the attachment plates out of time.
Here's a simple solution, a couple of 1/4" holes at the end of each lever.
