The tiller that came with my tractor has one sticker in large print RS1.
There is another sticker in Japanese that I assume is for adjustments. At the bottom of that sticker it says B7001RS.

Can anyone help me with this?

Another question: What's the best way to park my tiller on the ground when I'm not using it?

The best thing to do for parking is to get it on concrete or up off the ground if you park it on dirt. Use a wooden pallet or 4 x 4s to get it off the ground to keep it from rusting.

You should coat the blades with some anti-corrosion product if you are storing it for a long time to keep them from rusting.

Thanks. Wood is a definite no-no here as the termites would have it gone in a matter of days!

My concern was having the weight resting on the tines.

You can always go pressure treated wood. Termites won't mess with it ;)

I'm thinking of welding something up from the scrap pile ;)

Another question about my tiller. I'm guessing the reservoir uses 90W gear lube. Is that correct?

Just park it on some rocks.
Yes 80W-90 or strait 90w will work.

I've just finished perusing the Implements section (yes, ALL 113 pages!) and read a post in there somewhere that mentions an articulated top link for attaching the tiller to the tractor. Mine came with a piece of chain in place of the top link. I'd like to get this sorted out so I can try out my tiller. Will the chain work or do I need to search for the top link?

Closer inspection of the machine tells me that the label "RS1" was cut off from the top and fabricated to cover my tiller. Hopefully St. Nick will get me a camera (hint, hint ;)) so I can post some pics.

Really hoping for some info on this thing because I need to get a PTO shaft. I've got the u-joint coupler so will take that along for a shaft diameter match but don't have the coupler for the tractor output shaft. Any suggestions on measuring the CORRECT length I need?

What Is This Tiller?

Wanted to change the name of my thread to better my chances of finding out more about it.

The top looks similar. Would like to see a pic of the "business end". When I had my tiller on the tractor to relocate it the shaft seemed to be way too short to connect to the PTO.

It should fit if the front of the tiller is resting in the forks seen below at the rear of the tractor.
