Hi,
I am going to fabricate a light bar to mount some driving lights on for plowing. A canopy for some shade while mowing , some hydralic connections for the rear, and oh yes a coffee cup holder.
I am wondering if anyone has an older L295 or similar that had a factory roll bar and could send me a picture of the mounting.
thanks

Would a picture of an L185 help? These models are all mentioned in my owners manual, so I figure they might be similar enough.

Sounds like he HAS the factory ROPS bar and is looking for other mounting pics and ideas. Might be wrong.

ABruce, did you find what you need for mounting? I've got an L305 and probably has same mounting setup. Let me know by PM if a picture is needed.

The RPOS comes down and sets on the axle just inside the fenders. It has a flat bar welded to to the base of the ROPS where it sets. Then there is a flat bar (like 1/2"thick x 2" wide x 7" long...just guessing) under the axle with two 7/8" (metric of course) bolts.

Hi,
I am in Canada, the roll bar deal is US only. My dealer quoted me almost 1600.oo for the one they have access to. I do not have any kind of a roll bar now but I have read enough on here that I would prefer to call mine a light or accessory bar.
I am going to PM the one gentleman who offered but a couple of pictures would be a big help. No one in my area has a tractor as old and the newer models are different.
thanks

if you get a chance a few more would be great, I think I have it but it looks to me like the bar goes below the axle in the picture. A little more clarity would probably save me hours.
thanks

I'll make a note to get some. I need to go up where that tractor is anyways to snag a bale of hay!!

I do remember 2 ea bolts on each side.

Got some pictures for you. I was wrong! There are not two hole on each side, only one. Kinda dark in the barn.

The ROPS just slide over and under the axle and there is a bolt in front of the axle that holds it on and tight. The bolt is a big one, like 1" (in some metric dimension!!)

If you need clearer pictures PM your email and I can sent them directly to you. A couple taken at the same time, with the same camera did not upload because they were too big for the forum software.
