I have a sun baked 1999 L2500, new to me with only 360 hours. The Fluid level glass is clouded and not functional. I see a part number listed and have done a quick review of the WSM but did not notice a procedure for changing it out. Suggestions, advice. Thanks

Paint over it and it won’t bother you so much.

Not much to changing mine when it cracked, I drove it up a side hill keeping the sight glass on the uphill side ;) and it just unscrews. New one screws back in.

If you don't have hills, I'm sure jacking up the tractor onto it's side should work...

The hillside is the trick - and careful not to get "stuff" back in the open hole as you place new back in.

Got it! And as usual, I should have looked at the past posts more closely. There are 3 or 4 other posts about this that clears it up. Thanks for the reply.

Your sight glass does not screw in it pops in the hole.
I would use a little RTV (silicone) or anaerobic sealer if you have it.
Put it on the grommet to case surface of the grommet to seal.
